Sort out the bathrooms and a few more wash basins would be good.

A small place. Very friendly. Not only the staff, but also how everybody become friend with each other. There is an entertainment room and the staff organises evenings in which everybody can see a movie, or even go out together. If you are in Toronto alone is wonderful. Negative points: a) tiny lockers for your valuables, out of the room, no locker for your luggage. b) no light to read near the bed c) the water pressure of the shower is very weak.

In my year abroad, this was definitely the best hostel I stayed at. I was always going back there and the next time I\'ll be in Toronto, I\'ll stay there again! I never had a problem with the showers, the place is clean and very comfortable; nice big table in the kitchen, very cozy common room, DVD\'s to choose from, super comfortable beds, ... Oh, and good breakfast: cereals, bagels, ...

Pretty good place. Amazing location, cool staff and a nice communal atmosphere all make this a place to stay. The only problem with this place are the showers, which are a miserable experience. If that doesn\'t fuss you, defo check this out.

Breakfast provided is inadequate for all the people in the hostel. For example, there is only a limited amount of milk and they do not replace even though they have it in the fridge.

I cant belive this hostel has such a high rating. Its very small and feels claustrophobic. We were in an 8bed dorm that should be for 6. It was also used as a storage room so had staff coming in & out all hrs. The showers were awfull 1minute they were freezing next red hot. You have to pay for everything no added extras, they dont take credit cards only cash which was an inconvenience. Also it felt like you were bein watched constantly, nothing was private. Much better hostels in Toronto.   Read Owner Comments

Close to streetcars on Dundas Street. I had a love/hate realationship with the temperature of the showers but they are clean so that\'s all I really cared about. It\'s a bit hard to find as it\'s only got a little sign, just remember to look around the corner!

The common room isn't so common. We wanted to read but there was someone settling in for the night on the pullout couch. For the amount of people staying there should be more toilets. There are two, but one is in a shower room so that if someone is taking a shower there is only one available. There are also no mirrors outside of the bathroom. The best thing about this hostel is its location: within walking distance of everything, and the owner is helpful. I would stay again for a single night.   Read Owner Comments

This place has great potential. I think the character will develope in the coming months, and when more long termers start settling in, the place will be an awesome stay for all travellers. The hostel is super clean, and the staff very friendly. Lockers available, free wifi, nice kitchen and good breakfast.
