Nothing special about this hostel. The dorm I stayed in smelt quite moldy and was dark, though it did have an en suite bathroom. Wifi had facebook access but was so slow it wasn't really worth trying.

The beds are very very hard if you stay in a private room. We couldn't sleep because of it. Otherwise the hostel was clean and friendly.

A great place to stay in Guilin, in the heart of the city, nice authentic rooms and a wonderful chill out lobby area, super friendly staff and delicious food!

This was the saving grace of Guilin for us. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. The atmosphere is relaxed and we would rather chill out here than head out. It is near a food street in Guilin but Guilin itself has nothing much so head out ASAP.

Nice common space: possibility to sit outside, couches, dvd area... and also nice rooms with big windows, large bed and wooden furniture. Staff was nice, but can't help us in the way we needed it. Guilin is a lovely city but one day is enough to see all. We recommend the boot trip and some days in Yangshuo.

Easily the best located hostel in Guilin. It is right in the center of downtown near plenty of shops bars restaurants and pedestrian streets. Great staff and lounge area. Beds were clean and comfortable.

Hostel in a great location very close to centre of activity yet not on a very busy street. There's a great street food market across the street for cheap eats as well! Dorm room was big and spacious and the bunk beds had privacy curtains. All in all I would definitely stay here again.

AMAZING hostel. This is by far the best hostel I stayed in in china. Staff had great understanding of English and were very well spoken and helpful. Excellent location just a few meters down the road from markets, shops and the promenade. Tours were available however it was raining when I was there so I was unable to do any to them. Cheap beer, cocktails and food. If you're in Guilin, stay here.

Great hostel! The stuff was really helpful and they make tasty food. Internet only in the lobby. Great location. Unfortunately bathroom wasn't too neat.

I would stay here again just for the staff. They were just as amazing as their English, and they never got annoyed with how many questions I asked, which is a feat in itself. The location is perfect for food, shopping, walking around, and grabbing a bus. The only downside was that the rooms were a little mildewy smelling and the air conditioners didn't seem to be working properly. But if they were that big of a deal, we could have stayed at the Sheraton across the street. Totally worth it.

best part was the free laundry and awesome tours. although they didnt allow an early check in, we got the opportunity to explore around. there are the sun n moon pagodas, park and malls nearby. the staff spoke english well and were extremely helpful. a negative would be the hard bed and smelly bathroom. but overall, a great hostel. i would go again when i come back to guilin. ps - the washer is free of use and washing powders are povided. you need to air dry the clothings though.

They wnat to be the best hostel in Guilin - the staff is definitely doing their best! Service and Information is great, they offer tours to Dazhai and Yangshuo. We went in low-season, got a discount and a wonderful room for 2 with a lot of character. Not very busy though, so the lobby was empty and quiet all the time. For sure a recommendable hostel!

Each dorm has its own shower (and it was my best shower during my whole trip in China), the staff is really really nice, they can help you a lot with traveling around! It's clean, breakfast is good and check out the special discounts (something like if you stay more than 2 nights you get one free, but this need to be checked).

We really don't like how the stuff treated us. We are a couple of young asians. We don't know what's wrong with the staffs but we were not being treated nicely by the staffs, they only treated the westerns warmly not the asians. There was one day, I was asking a question to one of the staff and I got an answer without a smile and then a minute after answering my question, there were 2 western guests also asking them question and they were greeted nicely.
