As it was written in my travelling book, this place is more for chinese people so you can be surprise by your room (bad smell, no air conditioning, etc). Nevertheless the hostel is good located!

We really liked the staff there, they made us feel welcome, very close to everything, we only one night, so it was good to be close to the market area. The breakfast was really good. Dont like the shower over the toilet, it seems a lot of places have this idea, just something Im not used to. I know it saves space but its a pain having to dry everything after and make sure clothing doesnt get wet while having a shower.

Good, but a bit expensive. They even took a higher charge on the day AFTER Labour Day holiday even though the hostel was not fully booked. Good location in the city center. However the staff is not very well informed about the city's attractions, opening times and entrance fees. Some staff seems to be informed and other will just give random answers. Furthermore some information about the own tours were not completely correct. Western breakfast costs 25 Yuan. Wifi in the lounge only.

I was disappointed that there was not wifi in the rooms and the food could have been better and more choice, although the breakfasts were nice. I would have liked to have seen more information on things to do and see aswell.

Brilliant one. This must be one of the best hostel I have ever stayed. Their reception with a common space is perfect. If you go up to the rooms, nice beds, clean separated toilet and shower rooms, and big enough security box are awaiting. The this is they do not have any lift to the 4th floor, and I needed to take a public transportation from the train station and to the bus station.

Quite possibly the best hostel I have ever stayed at. Nothing like having a good shower in a hostel. Beds were unbelievably comfotable after a long day of hiking. Also great to just sit on the couch and play with the hostel's cat and dog. I would be willing to come back to Guilin if only to stay at a hostel this awesome again. Have recommended this hostel to everyone I've met heading to Guilin.

Location excellent, atmosphere and staff good. Perhaps the kitchen should be open for more hours.

The hostel was ok. Not the top stay in Guilin I think. One of the lady at the reception was a little arrogant.
