Excellent hostel. My only remark is that the showers need more water pressure

Great staff, really helpful. Rooms have solid lockers and the beds are pretty new so they're very comfortable.

Bada Bing Hostel is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed. The atmosphere at the rooftop is wonderful. Staff is very friendly especially Bulent :) The location is very nice I went everywhere on foot. I can recommend every traveller to stay in Istanbul.

LOVED this hostel! the people working there are incredibly nice and make the stay a million times better. one communal bathroom per floor with several stalls and a few showers in each. they also have designated male and female times (although i'm not sure anyone follows them...) the location is great, walking distance from most sites. the breakfast wasn't much of a breakfast, but i would still stay here again. already recommended it to my friends.

Perfectly nice hostel, clean, friendly staff, area is very quiet but you're only 10 mins from the Galata Bridge that leads over to the old town with Hagia Sophia etc. Emails were answered promptly and the kitchen was basic but had anything you needed.

My only issue was that the left staff members who were very new alone running the front desk and many times they did not have answers to questions. It was also difficult to communicate sometimes because newer members of the staff did not speak English very well and when they are the only one on site, it was difficult sometimes. Other than that everyone was very kind and helpful and the hostel was fantastic. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed one week at Bada Bing and had all in all a good time. It's located pretty close to all the sights, in walking distance. Mustafa from the staff team was very nice and always open for questions. We were quite disappointed about the breakfast - unless you stay in one of the ensuite rooms, it consisted of some cereals and yogurt with dried fruits. Coffee and turkish tea were always free which was nice. Our room was clean and big enough for 2 persons but a bit cold (no heating :)).

It's such an amazing place! Best hostel I have ever stayed in! Great location (2 mins away from the tram stop, 15mins walk from the Old Town), super friendly and helpful members of staff, nice atmosphere, clean bathrooms, free wifi, lockers. It was great in any aspect!

It is a very nice place to stay. It's close to Taksim which is quite convinient place for young people and that gives you chance to see this part of the city. Also you can go and explore the other parth of the European part of Istanbul. The tram and metro stations are close and fast.

It was my first experience staying at a hostel and Bada Bing set a very high standard! I loved the place and the staff was very helpful and cordial. With good wifi connections and a cozy common room with complimentary tea all day, it was a very good experience staying here :)

My stay at the hostel was excellent, it is very well located, near the Golden Horn, so it's on a walking distance to the old part of town. The staff are the best, they spoke english and where very helpfu with everything I asked. They helped me arrange all my activities for the day, made recommendations of places to go. The bathroom was always clean with hot water. The owner took me out at night to have some beers with other backpackers, and it has a very nice rooftop to chill.

I had a great time it Bada Bing .The guys who own/work there are really nice and helpful. The location as a bit tricky to find the first time as it's not in any of the main tourist areas, but it's in a great location to have everything in walking distance (more or less, the tram is close too) the biggest drawback of my stay was a group of 30 or so loud, rude students who managed to use all of the hot water, also, water pressure in the showers is weak - but overall a great stay.

Even though they were undergoing heavy renovation during our stay, I would still recommend Bada Bing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Very pleasant place to stay for your holiday in tight buget. eventhoght good competitive price for accomodation from the hostel, everything is well facilitating your staying. To be frank, I am a quite picky person. But couldn't find any hospitality of them complainable except breakfast. Even so it is true, It wouldn't be matter to you as long as you are in Istanbul, Turkey!! Just let you jump into nice Rocanta cross around you!!

Bada Bing was nice. We stayed in room 2 for 4 nights. The communal bathroom was just down the hall which was nicely tiled, clean, hot water, and a hair dryer. The room had its own heater/according unit, big window, wardrobe, mirror, chair, shelf/drawer unit, and headboard with built in end tables. As other reviews said the bed was creaky due to the design of the bed frame. It was annoying but we were able to deal with it. Free breakfast 8-10 am was muesli with yogurt, nice but basic.
