I had a really nice stay at Bada Bing Hostel. The location was excellent, especially for going to the Turkish Modern Art Museum. The area has a lot of nice cafes and restaurants, but is not too far to walk to the major sites such as the Blue Mosque. The staff, especially Wahid on the front desk, were friendly and helpful.

Had a such a great stay!! From the moment I booked, Volkan sent an email extending a warm welcome, offering different ways to reach Bada Bing upon arrival in Istanbul, whether it be on my own with metro, taxi or a private car. Our suite felt like we we're in a boutique hotel, clean & hot shower. Wifi is fast. The staff is welcoming & down to earth with lots of helpful tips!! The location is in a great and safe area. Right by the water and walking distance to all the attractions!! I Recommend!!

I very much enjoyed my week stay at Bada Bing. My friend and I arrived later than expected at night and were still warmly welcomed by Volkan with hot tea :) As far as the hostel, it was very clean (cleaned everyday), had hot showers, great security, and had an awesome lounge and terrace upstairs by the bar. The kitchen was wonderful as well. Volkan was personable and helpful the entire time, and sent us to THE BEST Turkish delight and Baklava market. Would love to come back and stay again!

We had a lovely stay at BadaBing. Volkan is a very friendly and laidback guy. He gave us an introduction about the city when we arrived. The hostel is clean and has a nice rooftop bar. Volkan also took us and some other hostel guests to a bar where we had an amazing time. I definitely recommend to stay here!

The hostel although is very good , lacks of English speaking staff which makes it very difficult for visitors to find good restaurants, places where to go out , tours and all main information for guests to enjoy estambul . The atmosphere ianincredible and althoug people do not speak English very well they are very kind . The rooms and restrooms could use a bit more cleaning .

The owner Volkan is extremely helpful and talented musically. If you play an instrument and want to jam out, this is the place to be. The rooftop bar is prime and the employee who goes by Mr. Right is absolutely hilarious. Overall this place was great and very enjoyable.

Bada Boom! Bada Bing is the best the best hostel in İnstanbul. It also may be the only hostel ive stayed in, in İstanbul but theres no way anything can compare. It is in a great location, which is nice, but what really sets this hostel apart from others is the atmosphere and the staff! Volkan the owner, yes thats his name, is the absolute man! He is very available to help you wıth anything, and has a very good sense of humor whıch is infectcious throughout the hostel. Highly Reccomend!!

Bada Bing hostel is excellent value for your money. It is just 3 minutes walk to ferries, metro, grocery store, fish market, cafe and restaurants. The bathrooms and showers are outside the sleeping room. The social and hang-out areas are in the rooftop or at the lobby, make it easy to get proper rest for weary travelers. For night life, the hostel is five short minutes walk from Galata Tower. The kitchen area is excellent to cook up fresh sea-food that you could get from the fish market.

You super big lockers in the rooms, the lobby has a code to get in an out during the night, so that no intruders get in. It's in the new city, 2 minutes walk from Galata tower and 5 minutes walking from the Old City. Super easy area, no climbing needed. Beds are clean and comfortable. The staff is really handy with everything you may need. Wifi, guitar, PS3, kitchen, fridge, hot water all the time. Whatever you may need is there! Very nice stay.

If you're looking for a nice place to stay you really should check out Bada Bing! By the second you arrive you feel welcome, you get offered some tea and coffee or - when you're really lucky - even some Raki. The staff is awesome, they help you with anything, show you around and hang out with you. People staying there are from all over the world, they can tell you stories and there's always someone to party with you. I highly recommend Bada Bing for open-minded, friendly and happy fellows!

The staff working there was extremely helpful! We received mail with instructions how to get to the Hostel from the airport, and also useful tips about getting around in the city. If staying in Istanbul this is the place to stay.

The Bada Bing Hostel is central to everything and you're only a 20 minute walk, at most, to any of the major sites in town. The staff here are some of the best that I've ever come across staying in a hostel. Volkan, the owner, is so helpful for giving information about what to do in the city. He even took us out a couple of nights to show us the nightlife and ordered take-out Turkish food for us on the nights we would stay in the hostel. There is no other place I would ever stay in Istanbul!

The owner Volkan was very friendly and helpful. He spoke good english and we were very happy with our stay. We opted for a private room as we were a couple. It was value for money and fairly clean. Location was also good, walking distance from the Spice market and easy connection back to the airport on the European side. Thanks Volkan!
