This hostel is amazing! Superb atmosphere, excellent attendance, the staff are the best I've ever met! They give you a map when you get on it, explain everything you can do in the city, how to get on it, hints and more. Every night people gather on the common room to have BBQ- really tasty, by the way - and we know each other, makes plan for the night, or just stay hanging out there. If you're in doubt, just choose this hostel, it definately is the BEST ONE IN ISTANBUL!

This hostel is is great location near loads of restaurants and walking distance to all the sights. The staff were very friendly and the rooftop terrace really tops the whole thing off. Another bonus is the super comfy beds with curtains all around. I would stay here again.

I loved it, from the check in to the check out, form the service to the staff and guests, it all contributed to a wonderful stay. Having traveled alone and choosing to stay at a hostel, I must say I had no regrets just beautiful memories. Best time ever. Thank you for your hospitality.

The location is good, although beware of mini-bus drivers not wanting to drop you outside the hostel itself. The place is quite small but reasonably good value for money. The staff are young and speak very good English, but not overly interested in helping you with anything other than the tour basics, but nice guys none the less.

This was in a great location! Within walking distance from everything in Old City and the metro. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. There is a great rooftop terrace with a nice view of the Bosphorus. Bahaus was pretty great as far as hostels go.

If you want to stay in sulthanamet this is a good choce.Really clean rooms with your privacy and bathrooms. free wifi and also pc if you don``t have your own computer. Only two problems:music too loud in the roof top in the evening. And breakfast nice but I would suggest more quality.

Absolutely loved my stay at Bahaus Hostel ! The staff and the atmosphere they create with their friendliness and over the top customer service makes this hostel the better one. They go out of their way to help you get the most out of your visit in istanbul.

This is the best Hostel we have stayed at in Istanbul. I have felt so at home among new friends. It is truly one of a kind! I would recommend it to anyone spending time in Istanbul. No other hostel could compare

This hostel is one of the best I have stayed in. Unfortunately, I had to give it a low rating for cleanliness. The hostel is actually very well maintained but one night I saw a rat on the spiral staircase leading to the terrace. There was also a foul odour coming from the bottom of the spiral stair well. All in all I liked the hostel and I would stay there again but it is not nice to see a rat on the stairs!

Excellent, excellent, excellent hostel. The staff are amazing and hang out with you in their cool bar/ common room up stairs. I stayed in one of the large shared rooms and the way the room was shaped it only felt like a four bed dorm. Nice modern bathrooms. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in double bed private room, this costs €70,- per night, that was absolutely far too much for such a dump. If you only are interested in the location, that is great : less than 5 minutes walk from the blue mosk etc
