This is one of the best hostels i've ever stayed in - clean, safe, comfortable and feels like home. Located in Barra, it is perfect for exploring the rest of the city, with beaches nearby and a short taxi ride away from Pelourinho. I stayed in the run up to carnaval so the atmosphere was fantastic and it was very easy to meet other travellers. The staff were superb and they prepare a great breakfast! The only slight downside is the lack of bathrooms - but I'd still highly recommend booking.

The hostel has a clean, white and beachy feel to it. It's in a nice location in Barra, which is away from the busy Pelorinho but still within easy reach by taxi or bus. It's a very social atmosphere yet easy to have your own space as well. Only downside is that it's a bit short on bathrooms and showers. Definitely recommend.

They could improve their services by adding free computers to the guests, organizing day trips to make the guests interact more among themselves. Also, adding more bathrooms on the main floor would avoid lines, as there is just one bathroom for a lot of people. Overall a good hostel, a bit pricey for new years eve but so are the other options in Barra.

5 minutes walk to beach; 10 minutes walk to Barra's Lighthouse & Boardwalk. 30 minutes to 45 minutes walk to upper & lower town.

Everyone here was extremely friendly and the hostel itself was incredible. Felt more like a hotel than anything. The BEST hostel experience I have had to date. Highly recommend.

I thought the hostel was an extremely welcoming place to be, it felt like i was in somebody's beach home! Impressive breakfast and everything seemed to work so perfectly. The only thing Id say is having one bathroom on the top floor isn't the best idea

Nice hostel near to the beach Porto da Barra. In my travel time there had been not many People. I had a room with four beds for exclusive use. But if there had been 4 People, this room would definitely be to small . It was also the case that some air conditioners of other dorms caused a certain amount of noise right outside the door. but for one night everything was ok.

The rooms downstairs typically have poor ventilation. Would try to avoid those rooms

We stayed 4 nights and the is by far our best stay in the last 4 months we spent in South America! The hostel is brand new, all common areas are very pleasant and always kept clean (kitchen is fully equipped and perfect to cook; breakfast served is awesome), location is very good and the staff is really great, helping feeling like home (in English, Spanish, French... and maybe more) Out of 5, this is a 5 star service! We definitely go back again and recommend this hostel if you are in Salvador.
