Everything was good except most of the rental bikes were broken. I couldn't find one that worked anyway.. Cosy rooms, nice location in a quiet area, bit of a walk but not too far, kitchen was good.
Did not feel welcome, no wifi, no computer, no hot shower which is a bit of dissapointment after 4 days on a train. The facilities are great and super clean.

We really enjoyed our stay here, Natalia was very helpful answering our many questions. She even acted as an interpreter via the phone when we went to a local restaurant. The whole place is made of wood and has a lovely vibe. We'd definitely stay here again.

Positive: really nice wooden house to stay. Feels homy. The owner is very nice. Lot of locks however no lockers. Negative: the lady could improve on her hospitality. You can clearly hear everything from your neighbours room. A little bit weird were all the cameras installed. I would really recommend the place! We met nice people over there.
Lovely wooden hostel, clean bathrooms and kitchen. nice big rooms. A little walk to the main street (about half an hour) which wouldnt have been so bad if it wasnt raining the entire time!! I think this is the best choice to stay around here.
Beautiful facilities. The Banya was an amazing experience! The host was very accommodating! Overall great stay!
We arrived in the evening after making a booking the night before. Upon arrival the hostess told us that she had no record of our booking and would have to put us in alternate accommodations: a private twin room and a single room that she referred to as 'hers'. The next morning she accused us of making the booking shortly before arriving. I showed her the timestamp of the booking confirmation and she admitted that bookings go to the owner in Irkutsk, who then relays them to her. Stay elsewhere.

really calm hostel next to the forest, 20 min walk to Listvyanka market
A great hostel at the edge of the forest. The hostel is clean spacious and well equiped with kitchens and social rooms. It's a walk from the lakefront but the walk is worth it. Only lacking in curtains for the dorm room.
Nice place to stay, has a good feel to it. Kitchen is nice to hang out. Staff is really friendly!! Hostel is located at the end of a big hill so don't plan to walk it too many times. Only downside to the place is that the water pressure is very very low in the shower.
The hostel has good view and atmosphere but so far from bus station and centro. I found many local B&B on my way to hostel, because of hot weather and heavy luggage I really considered about giving up my one night charge.
I would prefer not to but I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. We have travelled from Beijing and we are now in Tomck. Every other hostel we have stayed in on this journey has been excellent and staff have been most helpful.
The atmosphere and the helpful staff are the best thing about it, the only minus would be the distance from the lake, but it's not that bad! A great place to get away from it all and enjoy amazing Baikal.
When we arrived nobody came to greet us, not was it clear where the reception was, or if there was one. The place lacked atmosphere and any sense of community. There was no yoga deck as described and the climbing wall was so small as to be nonexistent. We we're told we had to leave 30mins before check out time because they needed the beds. Also, it seemed to be eco in name only, with no water saving or collecting, or recycling of any sort evident at all. A beautiful place but not as described.
Great hostel but let down by the staff. The lady was nice enough but wasn't very welcoming and didn't really give any information or recommendations of things to do in the area, which is definitely needed if you are staying in Listvyanka as there isn't much to do.... Facilities are good but no wifi or internet which would be nice and are provided by other guesthouses in the area.
A bit far from the center, the kitchen was a mess when we arrived but overall great hostel with wooden houses !
The hostel itself is a really gorgeous wooden-built house and has a very nice atmosphere. We only spent one night there, but really liked it! As the hostel was almost empty we didn't have to check out immediately at noon, but were allowed to hang around a little longer. The only negative point about our stay was the fact that there was a very strong smell in our room.
One of the best hostels I ever stayed. Perfect location to relax during a tour on the Transsib. Only one thing, please use curtains or something to keep the dorm room dark during the night and morning.
Hostel world.com failed to provide our booking and caused a double-booking in a fully booked hostel, but the hostel helped us out anyway and found places for everyone. We are very grateful to the people at Eco-hostel!!
