Very clean, well-maintained, and friendly proprietors with lots of good suggestions. Great Value for Money in a rather expensive island.

Definitely the best guesthouse I've been to. The place is a conveniently located, multi-floor building with well-equipped heating and showers(the same water you can smell at Geysir). This could have become one of those typical trips in an European city, but it was the Everlyn and Philip who run the place, turned it into a fantastic one. I went to Reykjavik unprepared without proper clothing and missed pick-up times, but they were my saviours. Genuinely thankful to them, plan to revisit soon.

It’s a guest house with 10 rooms and run by a French couple. It’s the perfect starting point for exploring Reykjavik and Iceland as a whole. The owners have a vast knowledge of the area so don’t be shy to ask anything. Excursions can be arranged from there, no problem. Since the guest house is run with passion it produces the positive effects on the traveller. I’ll be back there some day!

Enjoyed our 4 nights at the guesthouse. The owner was very nice and helpful. The house was comfortable, warm and clean. Breakfast was very good. We had to leave at 5:30am for the return flight and the breakfast was served early for us~

It's a nice place with a homey feel to it. It's kept very clean and at a good temperature. The owners are really great people who are constantly aware of what you're doing, thinking ahead about what you might need, making phonecalls for you etc. I wasn't aware of the hot tub and jacuzzi advertised but this wasn't important to me. My only complaint really is that I couldn't get wi-fi in my room (only downstairs). On the whole, it's a fantastic place and I would definitely recommend it.

200% recommend to ppl who are planning to go to Lceland. Super nice, helpful, responsible, wecloming, friendly.............host couple, can't be better. Location is not a problem in Iceland as u will mostly take tours to visit around and they will pick u up from ur accommadation. Baldursbra location is still very good, it is near the main street area and bus station. Rooms are in very good size, very homely feel. PS. you can still book a double room if you travel alone. They charge 1/2 price
