This hostel manage quite poor since their office does not open till late, we cant even find a staff for our check in and check out process since we going out early and come back late. Also,my 4 people doom was just right near a common area, not only the noise but also the people here could bbq just out of my windows!!! When they cooking, i though it was raining!!! Poor facility, will 24/7 no connection wifi, no helping or even talking staff, dont come here, just choose another hostel!

the included breakfast was just a single slice of bread and too lade for people, who want to stand up "early" to see the city. the worst thing was, that they have not enough kitchen equipment even just for two people. but I dont know why, we got an upgrade for our room which was really nice.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Dirty, unsafe, no locks on doors no lockers in rooms, false dorm size info, we booked for 8bed and got a 20 bed. This place is awful, not for travellers for people looking to stay long term and not fussed about cleanliness, safety and enjoyment of beeping I a hostel!

Great place to meet people when you're travelling as there are a lot of long term stayers. Also good location; Balmain/Rozelle is a great area and only 10 minutes out of the city by bus. Best hostel I've stayed in :)

Worst place I have ever stayed, parties outside dorms until the early hours of the morning which the staff do nothing about and seem to be involved in. Run as a party hostel for the longer term guests who will rarely even return a smile to newcomers (any decent reviews will be from these or staff). One tall, grey haired, male, Australian staff member is particularly rude and aggressive. A discarded bottle of urine sat on the top shelf in my room until I took it upon myself to put it in the bin.

The worst backpacker i've ever been in!!! the staff is useless and dont care about anything. Bedrooms are never cleaned, and rooms are always dirty. The kitchen is not equiped at all. People are partying everynight and nobody cares about telling them to be just a bit more quieter. is there really a staff?? Was even counting the days before leaving, What a mistake to have book a whole week directly!! I even found a mouse in the kitchen!!! and a cockroach under a fridge!! Never again!! No way!

The hostel is like a maze but there's hypes of nice people hanging around. It's a bit far from the CBD but has nice secondhandshops and outlets around it.

This place was horrible. We got put in a 6 bed dorm after paying for a four bed dorm. The place was loud. The rooms were horrible with no air con. Horrible facilities even worse staff . The worst hostel I have ever stayed in. Would not recommend it to anybody.

What a place!!!! Originally booked for a week a half over the new year period and was sceptical over the reviews. However we were soon proved wrong, amazing place with amazing people became more of a home than a hostel for us, ended up staying for more than a month and were gutted to leave!!! If you want to have a blast in Sydney got to this hostel. Woo Balmain!!

I originally booked for 1 month, 3 months later I'm still here! Nobody ever bothers to use the lockers because it's so safe, it's just one short bus ride from the city and Coogee beach, the cleaners are up from 6am maintaining the facilities plus the receptionists are really helpful. Over 30 people live in the hostel long term which makes the atmosphere great. I really can't praise the place enough! I've made so many great friends and had such a good time in Sydney all thanks to BB's.

This was the third time I stayed at this hostel and I have enjoyed myself there everytime. The location is very central and Kristy the manager is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for her. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for value for money. Cheers John.
