The shower could be bigger (really too small) and the staff could give more information about hikings.

The charge was more than it said on our confirmation but other than that it was a great hostel.

This is an incredible hostel... I have already been twice and plan to go back again. The atmosphere created by the staff and fellow travelers is ideal. It is a "home away from home."

Possibly the best hostel ive stayed at. Even though it was November I still had heaps of fun out of this hostel, I can imagine it would go off in the peak season. I'de love to come back here again.

Wonderful! The people were great and so was the atmosphere. The staff was really helpful in terms of finding activities to do in the area. Nothing bad to say about it.

Super cute hostel with lots of charm, friendly staff, and lots to do. Breakfast could have been better, but as it was free, can't complain too much.

I found Balmers to be very clean, safe, and inviting; best hostel I have stayed at in Europe thus far. The staff was very friendly, the metro bar was a blast, very easy to meet people of all ages (although mostly younger)... couldn't have picked a better place in interlaken! and also erich balmer is the MAN

The staff did not seem eager to help, and at times gave us the wrong information about sites to see, schedules, etc. Also, the prices for the little things (i.e. bottles of water, snacks, even towels) were outrageous.

Nice and cozy. Has a lot of different type of people that come there. Is affordable and also has a good club within its premises.

two things to make this a perfect rating. 1. Better breakfast and 2. outlets to use.

The hostell staff was extremely kind and helpful. The location and the facilities are good. It basically has everything you need :) The only thing I thought was too much is asking for an ID card as deposit for an AC Adaptor - a cash deposit (like for the keycard) can achieve the same goal.....

Great hostel but the lock out for five hours is very annoying! It should be no more that two hours.

This is a very nice place in Interlaken. They have a bar underneath the hostel, they have all the information so you can do different activities and sightseeing near Interlaken. Breakfast is nice too.
