Great location and friendly staff. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Balmer's has a great atmosphere - social and fun and also relaxing. Would stay again!

Hostel wanted insisted on taking my passport as security for the key. This is completely unnecessary and pointless. What are they going to do if I misplace the key? Keep my passport and make sure I can't leave Switzzerland without paying. Thre was still a full litterbin in my room when I checked in and am not sure there had been much cleaning done after the previous occupant moved out. Breakfast was also very poor and cheap quality

Great staff, great views. I stayed in the tends and they were cool and clean. The beds are good with nice blankets. Interlaken is amazing. Tuga
