Bamber house is really great! Its in Mt Eden, one of the better suburbs of Auckland city, 30 min walk from down town. Its clean, cosy and well equiped. They help you with everything to get you going. If you want to buy a van, make a trip,... No worries! Want to meet new people or just want a good place to sleep, this is the place! Stayed here for like a week!Bamber house is really great! Quite far from the centre to walk, about 35 mins. Near shops, supermarkets and the bus stop to/from airport. Staff are very friendly and although the hostel is about 25mins walk out of town there is a good bus service and Mt Eden village has plenty of wee coffee shops to keep you going. Plenty of information available and staff are very helpful. I saw it has a high \\\'fun\\\' rating, but if you\\\'re looking for a wild party scene - it\\\'s not the place... It is an excellent hostel though, nice atmosphere, nice living room, chill out, play some backgammon, drink some wine...great super clean kitchen, nice beds & rooms, decent shower rooms, super friendly, very calm and relaxed.. - good for a long stayI saw it has a high \\\'fun\\\' rating, but if you\\\'re looking for a wild party scene - it\\\'s not the place... Beautiful place to stay. Quiet and in a beautiful suburb of Auckland. Busstop out front takes you right into town, or 40 minutes scenic walk. Loved it.Beautiful place to stay.
