Nice family run hostel. Staff are very helpful and friendly. You feel like your at home. Close enough to everything you need.
Nice family run hostel, helpful staff also one of the son's is a chef and offered a dinner bbq for us which was one of the best meals i've had in brazil. Bathroom could have a fix up but overall great hostel, easy to get to the waterfalls too just one bus.
Loved staying here. Family run business with a mother and her three sons after experiencing life in other countries and professions, the three came back together in Foz de Iguazu. They were very helpful with directions and any random questions I had and was very easy and comfortable to meet travelers to participate in activities. Since the hostel is in the house they grew up in, you feel very much at home. Location is close to the main road easily accessible to all buses.
We had a really good time here. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Every morning there was a breakfast with loads of fresh fruit, prepared by the amazing Mama Bambu. The waterfalls are extremely beautifull. There's a cheap tour heading for Argentina that leaves from the hostel. It was good. But if you have only one day: visit the Brazilian side. You can get there by bus. We saw both side and no have not a single regret.
Close to TTU bus terminal (10 minute walk) and an awesome cheap churrasco (Churrascaria e Pizzaria Tropicana). 24 reals for all you can eat! If you stay here, book through HW. It was cheaper than prices if you just walk in (save at least 10 reals/night). Place is decent - hammocks outside, laptop for common use, TV on 24/7, average breakfast (small fruit platter and bread/ham/egg). It is family run. Definitely do Argentine side on your own rather than the tour they advertise. It's easy but long.
Our best hostel in Brazil. Staff (a family) were really friendly and welcoming. Really helpful in advising us on how best to do the falls and our onward journey. Hot showers and the best breakfast ever!
I stayed here for a couple of days longer than planned as the weather was too bad to see any attractions but was very comfortable to stay and watch some movies on the big TV. Free breakfast is very good and personally served by the lovely ladies... scrambled eggs, toast, jams, fresh cut fruit, tea & coffee, juice... perfect way to start the day. The only thing I wish were improved was security (not enough lockers & front gate always unlocked). Wifi was a bit slow at times but it is most places
Very helpful, friendly staff that made our time in Iguazu extremely enjoyable for the 1 night we were there. Diego cooked everyone in the hostel a BBQ for dinner which was awesome. They also drove us to our argentina hostel the next day which saved a lot of time mucking around with buses and doing the border crossing. would recommend this hostel to anyone.
Third time staying here. Top notch breakfast!
Nice little friendly hostel. Good location and safe area. Very chilled if that's what you are after. Helpful staff also!
The bathroom in our dorm could do with a bit of work but overall a good hostel with great staff
Bambu is an excellent place to stay. I was picked up from the airport on the Argentina side, on time, and was taken across the border, very convenient. The room I had was very clean and very spacious and overlooked the swimming pool (weather too cold for a swim!). The breakfast was a little on the small side for me, but good all the same. Overall the people at Bambu made it a great stay, very welcoming and very happy to advise. Would definitely stay there again.
Had a pretty good stay at the hostel. The brothers were very helpful in providing information and booking things for you when you ask. Great place to stay! Only problem is that there are too few working lockers in the hostel. Tip: it is easy to do the trips to the waterfalls yourself. Book and pay everything there.”

Great location and awsome staff. The guys are super amazing and helpful. Atmosphere is warm, welcoming and fun. People are great. Rooms are spacious, bothrooms excellent and their mom makes an awesome breakfast. The pool, bar and hammocks are all welcome in the heat of Foz. Loved it here. Felt like a home away from home :). Thanks guys!
Had a great time at Bambu. Really close to the bus station. A quiet hostel to be honest, but served it's purpose as a stopover for Iguassu Falls.
Nice hostel with a cool staff. Great cheap churrascaia restaurant nearby.

Really lovely family run hostel. Great communal breakfast around the table each morning. Comfy and clean. Really helpful. Round the corner from the bus stop to the falls and to Argentina. We paid R$20 for a taxi from the bus terminal but think it should have only been R$10 or R$15. Diego is a great cook. Eat there if he offers!
Very good bedroom, clean, big hostel, and sympathic staff
The hostel was not bussy, but very helpful staff and nice common area. close to the main avenue and to the bus to iguacu
