The hostel staff was not professional. We waited so long to get our rooms. Their advertisement of double room with shared bathroom is more like mini apartment that you have to share with randoms with leaving area + kitchen + bathroom. Wifi was very flaky. Our room had a window with no locks giving into the shared area and the staff did not provide any solution. Breakfast was ok. Location is great. If you like to party with the staff then it's for you! Loud music all day etc.

Loved the location, the rooftop and the bar! The staff was helpful, but the rooms and showers could have been much cleaner, especially for the price charged!

Very good breakfast....ham,cheese,granola,yogurt and our room had a balcony with a great view to the beach!

Didn't get why they whack a 6% surcharge on the cost of the room for paying by debit card. No ATM's in the area so its a half hour ride in the bus (each way) to the nearest one in Lagoa. for the quality of the rooms its pricey for what you get

Good staff with good info on parties and it is in a pretty good location. The showers and bathrooms were dirty/broken most of the time and the place was a little dirty and a little run down overall. The rooms on the ground floor were mouldy and made everything in the room very wet. It would be OK if it was cheaper than its competitors.

Please, avoid this place if you are interested in having a good time!! We didn´t get what we have ordered, in addition we were not able to switch before the next day and have been forced to stay in the room, that we haven´t ordered (more a place for garbage than a room, very dirty and without window!!) The hostel itself was very noisy a lot of illegal drug flow. Very dangerous place, still hoping that there will not be abusing of my credit card!!!

Great hostel! There was always a lot of action at the bar and the staff made it a real fun experience!

Out of all the hostels we have stayed at this was by the friendliest!! The staff were all LOVELY and the entertainment manager got all guests involved in events in the evening. The staff on reception helped us to book a bus to our next destination and were generally really helpful. Would definitely stay there again!!!

The room was terrible and the toilette was always broken, so I had to ask them to clean our room everyday. Most people of the staff are not helpful at all. We wanted to move and they didn't want to give our money back.

It was dirty. Our reservation with hostelworld didn´t work well. We did not receive a room for all 3 persons. Persons could enter every room as they like and they did. Staff was sleeping in the same room as the travelers. The breakfast was sometimes very poor. Just bread for the persons who arrived at the breakfast in the first hour, although the breakfast had to go on for another hour. The bead was wet, when we arrived and stood in this state.

Great hostel in an awesome spot right near the beach and a great pub - Mona Lisa. The staff were all super friendly and happy to have a beer. The owner was also super cool and chilled. Only negative would be breakfast finished too early (I never actually made it!). Definately recommended plus the surfboard rental is handy.

Stayed there twice, once in female dorm and once in the apartment on first floor. the apartments are really cool, the female dorm is very nice too. Had great fun, nice staff and good location. Would definitively recommend this hostel.

Good location as overlooks the beach. However we felt the staff were more disorganized then ever we have experienced. No one seemed to be able to answer any questions or were extremely vague with their answers. Also the organization of the breakfast was a shambles and after waiting for ages we didnt get what we asked for but had to ask to be told this. The cleanliness is something this hostel mentions in advertising yet unless you physically ask then nothing is done and even still is a bad job.

Staff were very nice, but I didn't like the hostel overall!! Everything was unorganized, rooms weren't very clean, the food court (kitchen area) wasn't very clean. Breakfast wasn't appealing. I don't think I'll stay there again.

Great place,full facilities,nice staff,helpfull people.Amazing bar views on Barra Lagoa,and they are making a wonderfull swiming pool on the roof top with incredible views around.Will be definitely the place to stay longer.Excelente!!

Apart from the used condom hanging on our door on arrival and the electrical fire in our room (caused by a washing machien plugged to our room through the window), it was quite ok. Free surf boards and good access to the beach. Breakfast and dinner services are a bit slow, but we got good hints and everything got arranged. Not the cleanest one and a bit of a construction project going on during our whole stay.
