This hostel is for the party type people. Lots of drinking, partying, socializing and a very young crowd. If you like loud music, lots of people, lots of traffic, lots of booze, then this might be for you. If you are looking for something a little more quiet, more "family" then this is definitely not the right place for you.

Great place fun or mellow everyone is friendly looking to make friends right on beach three free meals and free breakfast were amazing! Worth staying a few nights, for sure

Really fun hostel. Right on the beach, so that can't be beat. Overall, pretty great time. Here's the kicker though. Most of the people there are basically living at the hostel. Staff included.Been there for several wks or even a month or more. This makes it hard to squeeze into the clicks that have formed. So while everyone was super friendly, after 3 days I still felt like a bit of an outsider...Also, during the day no one does anything, just sit around. I'm a pretty personable traveler too btw

The best of the best!!! just one little thing... I wasn´t allowed to receive visits... hello??? not even in the social area!!! :-( otherwise, the best of the best!!!

The location of this hostel is amazing, right on the beach. It is the perfect party hostel with parties and trips to Tijuna organised most nights. Definitely recommend this hostel. There were loads of different nationalities and great people to meet!

Amazing location! Could not find better in Pacific beach. Its really far in a taxi from the the clubs and bars of downtown San Diego but loads of great spots to party at the beach! A couple of the Staff were not very friendly at all most were fine though. All in all awesome hostel and would definatly stay here again. Great party place!

a great hostel for a party the staff are well organised and friendly only weird thing was there are only mixed dorms so if your travelling alone some girls had said it was a bit unusual... i had an amazing time because its so close to the beach and close to clubs and pubs

Awesome hostel if you want a hostel with great character, fun vibe, in a fab location just off the beach. Always something going on and someone to talk to, with great organised events... small hostel so everyone pretty much knows everyone. downsides... sandy (obvs because of the beach), creaky bunks, and no locks on the doors.... none of which hindered my stay in the slightest! The good points vastly outweigh the bad at this hostel if your priorities are character and atmosphere over luxuries.
