Banana Bungalow West Hollywood can be found on the Melrose strip on the west side of Hollywood, bordering Beverly Hills.
Our super-clean hotel-style building has a cool design and is in a great location and features a Tiki courtyard, perfect for sunbathing.
We offer dorm rooms, each catering for up to six people. Private ensuite bathrooms are in every room. Rates include free linens.
Stay in touch with those from home using our Internet connection and free Wi-Fi.
Relax and get to know your fellow travellers (a fun international crowd) at our regular free BBQs and gatherings – there’s also a kitchen available where you can cook a meal after a day's sightseeing. Movie nights are also run frequently at the hostel.

I had such an amazing time staying at Banana Bungalow! Everyone was really nice and there was such a great atmosphere. Each night there is something great to do, we arrived on a Saturday and that night had a $5 meal at the tiki bar downstairs (Massive portion sizes) then we went to one of the best nightclubs I have ever been to! Was such a good night out. The hostel is about a 30-40 minute walk to Sunset Blvd and Hollywood Blvd which is nice a sunny day otherwise a short taxi ride!

Love this place it's got social events with sister hostel, free food and drink. I enjoyed my stay but if your a light sleeper pick a room away from road, traffic runs all night (no exaggeration 10pm-7am) and is loud. That aside love this place.
