Good facilities, like a mini resort with pool, bar, and seating. The pool and bar area is a nice feature for meeting and socializing, but the bar closes fairly early. The food is excellent - some of the best in the area.

BBQ party for 35 soles. Overpriced for its quality. They didnt prepare enough food and cleared dishes quickly. No choice but to have it, cuz no markets around there. I was almost starving to death. Dishes were not replenshed and disappeared soon. Other than that, clean facility and good stay.

Huacachina attracts the character-building, 20-something, gap-year brat and Banana's is perfect for them. The circular bar sits between the pool and shady seating area, and pumps out music from early to late, so there's always a party vine. If the staff seem slightly despondent sometimes it's probably because they get questions like "is there an afternoon maid service to clean the room", which one guest was genuinely asking when I arrived.

Very clean and central. If suggest booking all Nazca and dune buggy via their reception. Very quiet at night. Not a party spot. BBQ every night with two beers for 35 soles. decent deal. Overall...good pick for a hostel in huachina

Great hostel with pool and nice staff. Food is really good, especially BBQ is all worth it's money and highly recommendable.

The dunebuggy tour is included in your stay which means you'll overpay here compared with staying somewhere cheaper and organising the tour on your own. That being said the hostel feels like a mini resort with excellent atmosphere by the pool, groovy tunes, helpful staff, hot showers, and a scrambled egg breakfast. No kitchen for guest use which means you'll have to eat overpriced hostel food since there isn't a market nearby. Cool place for a one-off 'treat' from the usual backpackers' budget.

Offers great dune buggy tours, most of the staff speak good English and nice area to relax in. The loud music goes off at night but we would have liked it turned down during the day to make talking easier at the bar. Further away from the bar it was fine. Take a clear plastic bag for your electronics to the dunes. The sand caused problems many peoples devices.

The town is tiny. This is the spot to stay for sure. Best social scene and the staff is cool.

The hostel offers their own packages - wine tour, dune buggies, etc. and great food. Good price and a small pool. Saw no reason to not recommend this place. Only thing is their storage could be a lot better.

Loved the atmosphere and the dune buggy rides! The nightly BBQ was delicious as well; worth the money (which was only 30-35 soles). We booked a wine tasting tour through the hostel as well. Overall, the wine tasting was just okay. The portions to "taste" were tiny, and were served in disposable plastic cups (which were not renewed). I could have done without it. Everything else was a great experience. Can't beat swimming in the pool, then laying out in the sun with a pisco sour in hand!

Great hostel! Very overpriced though of you book it online and pay for the package. It's at least S10/nt cheaper if you pay when you're there. Definately recommend just paying for room too. The only activity worth paying for is buggy ride with sandboarding. The BBQ is overpriced and the wine tour is the worst tour I've ever done. Bring everything with you to Huacachina as it's very overpriced once there. The pool is nice and its a good place to chill. 2 days max there is enough

Great place to stay, very laid back, real holiday atmosphere. The swimming pool is great. The restaurant serves very god food. The staff is amazing. A very clean hostel. I think by far the best hostel in Huacachina.

Itr was great, the hostal, the sandsurfing and the BBQ. The wine visit was great in Tacama, but not the first visit: no explanation, only drinking.

Great little place with a lovely atmosphere. The food is a little expensive but it is very good. Staff are all helpful, rooms are clean and the extra expense of the room including the sand buggy tour is brilliant. Would definately recommend.

Bananas is a wonderful place, is maybe the best hostel in huacachina. Is a nice hostel next to the lake with many facilities as the tours it offers around Peru. The staff is nice and they have a good restaurant. I stayed with my partner in a private room and it was perfect.

Hostel was great; nice facilities and pool. Extra activities such as dune boarding and ballistas island tour however had h hidden fees in addition to the initial fees paid at the hostel, which was annoying.

be sure to stay two nights and avail of the other trips. we only stayed one and did the sand boarding but stay two and you can do a flight over the nazca lines. the guides on the sand bordering were really shit, didn't give any advise and were very inpatient. we still enjoyed it all the same

Overall it's a good experience, they ask to confirm arriving which i did via email but never receive a reply. Once we get there they then told me to do the activities ( boggy ride and sand boarding) we need to let them know 24 hours ahead however they are still able to accommodate us so it was ok. But our driver is kind of weird- we saw him sniffing the gas tank, like he was high. We did come back safe and sound but still it definitely freak you out when your driver is high on something,
