Hostel was great; nice facilities and pool. Extra activities such as dune boarding and ballistas island tour however had h hidden fees in addition to the initial fees paid at the hostel, which was annoying.

Without a doubt, this is the best place to stay in Huacachina. We only stayed one night, but recommend staying longer. They picked us up for dune buggy ride at the hostel and after an activity like that with others at the same hostel, bonds are formed. Took a swim and enjoyed a nice barbecue dinner with drinks at the bar with new friends, followed by dancing at local club.

We spent 3 nights at Banana's so did all 3 tour options. BBQ was night 1 but it never happened - not enough people, although we were never told. It was on the following night though and it was worth the wait - amazing food! The sand buggy tour was just awesome - if you only have time for one tour option make sure it's this one. The winery tour was quite rushed, but interesting. No water (hot or cold) in the male shower for our entire stay. Cool place though, best bet for Huacachina I'd say

Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Rooms are nice enough and the added sand dunning / sand boarding is great fun.

The price is far too high for what you get. As I found out the included Tour is just 30 Soles. I thought maybe the tour would explain the high price for the accomodation. You just sleep in simple wooden bungalows. Those are ok but not worth to pay 60 Soles for! There are too less bathrooms too. The pool is very small. I would recommend to stay at cheaper hostels. Desert nights looked good from the outside. Banana´s is alright but not worht paying the price!!!

It seems you pay a lot but you get an awesome dune buggy / sand boarding tour. The hostel was clean but inevitably there was sand everywhere including a little on the bed...! The atmosphere is amazing in the little garden with pool where you can eat quite cheap and good food at the hostel bar. Lots of people coming from other hostels to have a drink or breakfast! Definitely the place to stay!

Cool place to stay, great atmosphere. Loads of comfy chairs to lounge around by the pool, a real beachy vibe. Only criticism (and being very picky) is the lack of plug sockets in the dorms. There are 4 but all joined together so if you have a bulky adaptor only 1 person can use the plug at a time, would be good to have sockets on the upper bunk. The dune buggying and sand boarding organised through the hostel were one of the best things we've done on our trip so don't miss out on that!

Banana's was amazing! Getting the sandbuggying/boarding included is a great idea as you are guaranteed a spot and don't miss out! The staff were especially amazing here, we stayed 2 nights and knew a lot of them by name. Luis is amazing at helping you organise everything you need, also cooks an amazing BBQ! He was very helpful and lots of fun. Food is great, buggy tour was excellent, pool and social areas were plentiful and well set out, all in all, great place to stay!

Nice big hostel. Lots of space and very sociable! Although not enough toilets/showers and plug sockets to house that many people. Really enjoyed our stay, especially the dune buggy/sand boarding put on by the hostel!

A good hostel overall just let down by the lack of individual lockable storage in the rooms.

Super cool place, price included sand boarding / buggy car ride. Good bar, very nice staff, pool, hammocks, great view. I'd go back for sure.

We originally thought it was pricy but didn't realize that it included a dune buggy tour! Our room was brand new, newly renovated, modern and clean. The pool and common area outside was very cute. Enjoyed my stay here.

Good breakfast (eggs, fresh juice, bread, and coffee tea), fun activities, decent room, and nice bathroom with hot shower (but there's usually a line for the nice one). Overall, the place had a good vibe but all the common areas (including eating area) are outside so it's cold in the morning and at night. Also, if you stay more than 2 nights then, try to negotiate the price since there's only 2 main activities to choose from.

Had a great time at the hostel. The environment is welcoming, the food made at the bar is pretty good, and the inclusive prices for the sand dunes and wine tours make this place worth the stay.

Great hostel, but if you stayed elsewhere and booked activities through them it would be cheaper. Burgers from the bar are nice.
