This is a great relaxing hostel. It is different than any of the other hostels that are in Huacachina because it has a relaxed beach vibe to it with hamocks, pool, and pool side bar. The staff is cool and the visitors were to. They play some music when it gets dark at the pool side bar, but no one was up all night raging while we were there. Its a good place to catch up and meet cool people.

The food/drinks at the hostel are expensive when compared to surrounding locations, but everything is so close that it's not a huge inconvenience.

Nice hostel. Chilled, small but sociable. A little cramped in the 4 bed dorms though. Rooms are better. Great food even if a little expensive, but then so is the rest of huacachina. The pool is reasonably clean - the jets could be on during the day. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you want some more party action, just head over the road. It is nice to come back to more quiet surrounds. Enjoy!

Don't expect a perfect booking from this place!!! They were always overbooking their rooms and sending people (including myself) across the street. I booked a 4 room private , but never got it. Instead my party was split up into 2 different shared rooms. Besides their terrible organization..... the place is very chill, friendly, and a good place to meet other travelers. The pool and bar is also a great spot to hang out.

the time at Banana was the best time of our trip to Peru. We met there great people and had a lot of fun. Definitely the best place in that area (if you want to meet young people and have companion to party and drink together) however, at the beginning we got there and were disappointed. got informed that one person got sick, must stay at the hostel one day longer and we would not get our room. fortunately, the banana's team made the effort and found another room for us. Place, food all great!

No kitchen, breakfast not included (but none of the hostels in Huacachina do anyway) and shared bathrooms are the same ones used by the pool but they were sually kept pretty clean. Otherwise, nice decor and vibe. The hostel restaurant is open to the public so it can become quite noisy late at night or very early in the morning.

We absolutely loved this little oasis. It's a nice place to chill out for a while. Awesome hammocks and food. The wifi didnt work the best but I don't expect much from these countries. Had an awesome time on the sandboarding and dune buggy tour.

Security real issue, not enough lockers, rooms never locked, anyone could come in. additionally others on sandboarding trip organised through hostel found cash missing from purses, which left us all a bit uneasy. Aside from that, good atmosphere, ample chill out areas, reasonable food and fun bar as well as small pool.

Good hostel with big pool and cool bar. However, there are far not enough power plugs.

Great place to spend a couple of days by the pool having a beer although some times it took 15 minutes to get one. The winery tour was just a trip to a pisco distillery and certainly not what you expect. Apart from those, nice hostel and recommend it

Fernando was excellent!! Most helpful and I will recomed friends to stay at this hostel. Only down side was that when ordering food you must be prepared to wait.

Lovely little part of Huacachina to stay in. One staff member was ALWAYS happy to help me with anything i needed -Thanks Alan!! ;-) The pool is a great place to chill out and meet people pleanty of travel advice to be swapped here. The hostel does good deals on the buggys and wine tours (most people U spoke to paid more elsewhere). The rooms are small - but this doesnt matter much, as youre on the dunes, by the pool or wandering by the oasis for the most part. Would definately reccomend Banana!

A good hostel, although a little pricey (bar and food) like everything else in Huacachina. A good place to chill and recharge the batteries around the pool. Friendly and helpful staff.

More of a resort than a hostel. Nice pool and bar/restaurant area. Rooms are a problem though. They are like garden sheds, crammed with beds. No lockers, or security meaning anyone could wander in and help themselves to your stuff as it's all open plan and caters to non guests.

Very relaxed, at home environment . Hammocks and outdoor furniture was perfect. Food is yum too. Sandboarding was awesome and cheap and all organised through the hostel.

I loved your hotel, hope I'll be back soon! The food was delicious and plentiful. Got a private locker, the rooms and bathrooms are always clean, and they come with ventilation. The perfect place to get away and relax, and have drinks with your friends at night. I specially loved the buggy tour, sandboarding and pool. Thanks everyone!

Had a good time here: chill, nice crowd, generally friendly and helpful staff. Sand dune tour is a must! We also did the tour to Islas Bellestas, this I would recommend NOT to do. It's only transportation, they needed 45 minutes to pick everyone up (it's a small town!) and there was no information. And contrary to what was promised they didn't drop us off at the bus terminal and gave us bad information about bus times. Just take a bus to Paracas and get a boat yourself, better and cheaper.
