As we arrived in the evening, the hostel had been overbooked and we were sent to another hostel. We had booked via hostelworld.com. When booking we had already paid a down payment, but we were still sent to another hostel where they did not accept our Bananas hostel booking and asked, not only to pay the entire fee, but asked us even to pay more for a room than in Bananas. It is unacceptable!

Bad smells. Electric boiler can't heat enough hot water, it constantly runs out. Located in a nice area but not very close to metro station (10-15 minutes walk).

Location is good with several supermarkets and local brand fast food shops located nearby. It is very difficult to find the hostel in the first visit. Although there are some banana signs on the ground, you cannot see them at night or when they are covered by snow and ice during winter. You should enter the gate next to the High School of Economics. You may concern that there are a few local people have their long stay in the hostel, but I can tell they are very nice and helpful to tourists.
