Hello and welcome to Bananas!
Bananas Hostel is a colourful and friendly place to stay in Itacare, a surfy town set amongst stunning beaches and Atlantic Rain forest. You will never run out of beaches to visit or things to do in Itacare and we are more than willing to share our favourites with you.
Not only are we close to beaches and trails but our location in the middle of the main street 'Pituba' means bars, restaurants and shops are all within stumbling distance. If you don't want to go out, you can always grab a caipirinha from the Bar-nana Bar and relax in a hammock or unwind in the unique grass couch amongst hummingbirds in our large tropical garden. We have a variety of social and chill-out areas to choose from according to your mood. You wont run out of entertainment with our movie nights shown on the projector and for those sports fans we show international sports including footie and rugby. And, to keep you extra comfy we're in process of changing all of our mattresses to Orthopedic mattresses.
We stayed in many hostels ourselves before starting our own and have tried to add all the good bits into one hostel!
We have a range of room options including dorms, doubles or kitchenette all with en-suite bathrooms. Camping is also available on request.
We are also offering long term rentals on our doubles and dorms. Please contact us to find out more.

One of best hostels I've stayed in.Great breakfast, good chill-out areas, fast wi-fi, comfortable beds, hot showers, big rooms. Pete and Debs are more like friends than hostel owners, they make you feel right at home.There weren't many people staying there when I was there, but rather than put all of us (travelling separately) in the same dorm (which is what most hostels tend to do) they gave us each our own dorm room, which is amazing hospitality!Would def recommend Bananas & stay there again

This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Our reservation and cancellation policy:
Reservations will only be accepted with two weeks of the package for New Year Eve.
We want 10% for HWand deposit of 20% to the Hostel.
for we only accept cancellation 7 days in advance, otherwise we do not refund the money.
