Bad security for your equipment, and it was a little bit cold in the rooms. Other then that. It was Amazing, i will totally stay at that hostel, next time i visit Banff !.. cheers.

Realy nice hostel stuff...if we plan our next trip to banff we would book a room again.

Every day we got new towels, the bathrooms were clean, they have special rates for the skitickets (combi ticket and breakfast $ 79,-)

Great overall place. Nice location beside river. Banff needed another hostel. Loved the Great Room. Please replace the paid wifi with free wifi. Also, the rooms need lockers.

A fine place to stay that serves well as budget accomodation.

The rooms were nice, it was very close to the main areas of Banff. But the shower head did not give proper water pressure, half of it had no water coming out. There was very poor parking areas reserved, had to walk a ways away to get back to the hostel.

There was no toilet paper in the common washroom (I had rented a private room without a bathroom). This occurred 2 days in a row. When I told the front desk clerk, she was very rude and said she didn't have toilet paper (I told her there was none in the bathroom yesterday as well). She said that the washrooms were only cleaned every 3 days and then gave me a dirty look. The best part of this hostel was the location. It was adequate, but I'd probably not stay there again.

Can´t close the window - it was very cold outside, -2 Degree! Very ugly and dirty rooms and bathroom! The locker was a joke! Staff is unflexible and not the friendliest! I would never go in this Hostel!

The hostel was in a great location, but lacked some basics. There were no lockers in the dorm I shared. Also, the dorm itself was quite dirty. There were used tissues down the side of my bunk.

Didn't really like it here. The location is good and the staff were friendly, but the hostel itself is without any character whatsoever. The dorm room area feels a bit like a prison as far as atmosphere and ambiance go. There's an awful stench from the kitchen in the hallway. The whole thing wasn't particularly clean and the rooms were very spartan and felt a bit grimy. The hostel isn't exactly a catastrophe but I wouldn't really recommend it.

Good location, very clean, but it's a shame wireless is so expensive (20$ for 5hours or 12$ for the day) and some lockers would be appreciate too.

Great location but far too big and no character at all. It is very poorly sign-posted. Internet is so overpriced, it is a similar to what you would expect to pay in a five star hotel and to top it all off it was slow and kept logging off.

One of the best hostels I have stayed at. Great location, great facilities, staff were excellent. When we arrived the curtain was busted so the staff member kindly shifted us to another room.. Definitiely recommend this hostel to anybody staying in Banff. Big kitchen as well so cooking was not a problem.

Thank you to all the staff at the Banff Hostel. It was nice to know that people of any age can have a good time at the same hostel and the service was excellent. WELL DONE BANFF you finish my holiday on a high note.
