Bangka Bed and Breakfast is your 'home-away haven', offering you unforgettable moments during your stay in Jakarta.
We aim to give you the ultimate comfort with our internet facility, traditional Indonesian home furnishings, the TV with more than 20 international channels and an air conditioner in each room.
We're conveniently located in the most famous area for foreigners in the south of Jakarta. We're surrounded by cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, all within walking distance and easily accessible from every part of Jakarta.
Bangka Bed & Breakfast is owned by me, Budhi, and my wife, Yanti; we're a young-hearted couple who are looking for enjoyable activities to balance our daily busy days doing our routine professionals roles here and there. Not to mention our dedication as lecturer in several Universities in Jakarta, being busy and productive and yet still enjoying life is something that can't be parted from the two of us.
Since our lovely house was a little bit vacant since the marriage of our children, we finally decided to run a homey runaway place for those looking for a warm and homey environment during their stay in Jakarta. By doing so, we hope that our home will be warmed by the people who stayed.
Managed by my son, Ardha, and wife, Sharah, they will surely be available to assist you all, starting from the moment you make a booking and all during your stay in our lovely haven.

Hostel was in a suburb of Jakarta with very limited shops, or things to see and do. Restaurants were available 15 minutes walk. Hostel is actually part of a larger residence with visiting staff....only sometimes. Our room was not cleaned during a 4 day stay and breakfast appeared whether we were there or not ! If you want to be close to Central Jakarta or limited attractions steer clear of this hostel.
