Stayed here whilst working in the area. Initially booked a dorm room for 4 nights as this was the only room free and moved to a single room at the weekend. Both rooms were basic but fine. Cleaned daily and had cracking little heaters (a must in the winter), Showers were not much to look at but great when they got going. Staff were lovely and friendly and went above and beyond to help in any way they could. Would recommend this to those visiting looking for no frills, friendly accommodation.

Small hostel on a good location. Nice staff and you don't have to make up your beds. Biggest downside was I had the Fish&Chips room again: restaurant on windowside. Luckily the smell had been worse last year.

Staff were very friendly. Rooms only had 4 beds which was great & other guests considerate. Showers were powerful & hot & they have a small but efficient and locked drying room. The only minor downside is shared common room & kitchen are small, especially notable when you want to eat & socialise.....forced to go to pub

Great stay! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I had my laundry done and they returned it to me within an hour. Unfortunately no breakfast is included but there tended to be a fair amount of cereal or bread in the "free food" shelves so it's usually easy to make your own. Comfy and clean beds and a great location! Overall a great hostel.

Not very fancy and the sink in the bathroom was the tiniest I've seen (quite impractical), however the kindness and friendliness of the staff makes up for any inconveniences one might get. You definitely get the value for the amount of money you spend at this lodge. Thank you Alan, Scot and the rest of the staff! It was a true pleasure getting to know all of you!

Very comfortable, friendly hostel with great staff, good facilities, superior location. Fixtures and fittings are not new but are well cared for. Lounge and dining area are good. This is a solid and dependable place. Perfect for a short holiday in the Highlands.

Staff are really nice. Take ear plugs as because it's an old I found it quite noisy. Couple of other cons as the room was tiny and no cubicles for the showers. But hostel does the job.
