A warm and comfortable lodge to tight-budget backpackers

Fantastic hostel, Highly recomend staying there.The staff treat you like family.Also situated in a perfect location central to everything.

Admitting people at 0130 is not on! Other than that, fine.

Rooms are crowded

The rooms are a bit crampet and in the kitchen only two (three at the most) persons can cook at the same time, there is no room for more. There is no possibility to store your stuff while showering, and a secure luggage stroage is also missing. But still I would recommend the lodge, as it is very clean, there is no noisy street or anything of that kind, the matresses are ok and it is situated in the very centre of Fort William.

An excellent base for exploring Fort William and the surrounding area. Had a great time here.

The staff were really helpful and went out of there way to ensure your needs were met. They called me a taxi in the morning, recommended local pubs and bars for good food and secured valuable items at no extra cost. Two showers to share across the dorm floor meant that they were busy and at peak times and I did find myself waiting a while. They were clean and kept in a good condition despite the constant use. The only downside was the mirror in the dorm was too high! (seriously, that's all)!
