Great location - a short walk from the nightlife buzz but quiet at night. The entire hostel was very clean with a big kitchen and the garden area was very pleasant. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet hostel in Darwin!

When we arrived on a Sunday night we were greeted by a lovely friendly lady who was very helpful. We did however have a few issues with the lady who was on during the day. She wasnt as friendly or nearly as helpful. Overall though it was a a good experience and if I were to go again I would stay at the Bayan View.

One member of staff in particular drags the rating for this hostel down as far as I'm concerned. Fortunately she is only working there temporarily whilst traveling. She was particularly unhelpful when it transpired that an extension to our stay hadn't been recorded correctly, meaning we would have to find somewhere else to stay. Other than that, hostel is ok, have stayed in much better for much better prices, but all accom in Darwin appears expensive for what you get.

Nice quiet option still short walk to city centre. Budget and Hertz car rental are just around the corner, which was good.

Staff were extremely helpful. We used it as a base to explore from. Good position. Comfortable rooms.

Clean and quiet rooms with comfortable beds, but the rooms have not the nicest atmosphere. Location could be better, about 10 minutes walk from the centre.

Nothing that special about this place, it's clean enough and well run. This is place to be if you want peace and quiet.

My son and I enjoyed our stay - the hostel had everything that we needed. I would definitely recommend it and would come back again.

Fine stay, if you want a place for peace and quiet. One staff member was confused when it came to payment of the room, and thought the 10% deposit for the room was actually commission. This was rectified the next morning.
