We had a great stay with a group of friends for a single night. The owner is a young guy, very friendly and flexible. We were allowed to checkout a bit later than usual. There is one shower and one toilet, but everything is clean and user-friendly. The kitchen is filled with all things you need to prepare your own breakfast (bread, cheese, ham, hagelslag and a toaster-machine. Brew your own fresh filter coffee and/or tea in the morning. Beds are very comfortable and all linnen clean. Top!

Barbarossa was one of the nicer hostels I've stayed in, and I believe it's because the owner really cares about what he does and the general hostel experience. The kitchen is fully equipped with a professional chef oven, free bread, ham, cheese, drinks, etc.. The beds are single, without bunks, which is rare these days. The hostel feels like a home, and the balcony is a great social spot to get to know the other guests. Lastly, be kind to everyone and the staff, and they'll go beyond for you!

Perfectly located in the centre of the city of Nijmegen. A relaxed friendly atmosphere and clean hostel. At a price that didn't break the bank, perfect if you plan to be out and about a lot

The Staff at Barbarossa were very freindly. The guest there were mostly student, so it was very nice. It was close to city center, and most things were withing a 15 to 25 min walk. If you want to stay in Nijmegen for a few days, this is a good place to stay.

This is a fantastic little hostel close to the center of Nijmegen, but located in a quite cul-du-sac. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The free wifi and breakfast is something that all hostels should do! Keep up the good work guys.
