Basic bedrooms and really basic beds. Location is excellent, close to the harbour area and next to a lot of small and nice bars around Plaza de real. everybody who just wants to sleep in the hostel can book here

It's very close to Las Ramblas so it has a great location. It's clean and the staff is nice; you get your own key for your room, apartment and bilding. But i think the price is a little too much. The rooms are very simple (bed + closet), the computers didn't work, the kitchen was always closed. It's also very noisy all the time.

Talking (even in a private room) is forbidden after 23:00... It looks like a boarding school !!! However, the staff is friendly !!! Very good location for sleeping

Great location- really easy to get to from the metro, which was important. Accommodations were great as well, my room was much bigger than I am used to in hostels. Staff was very helpful too. I was worried about Barcelona being a little bit of an unsafe city what with all of the pickpockets, but I felt completely safe. Would definitely recommend it to anybody staying in Barcelona.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in one of the apartments. It was located close to the Rambla and there were a lot of shops and bars in the streets around the apartment. During the night, there was a lot of noise. The apartment was very clean and cozy. We had our own little kitchen and bathroom with shower and WC. We had a fantastic time and the apartment was great! We can definitely recommend it!

Our room was realy cold even we stayed at march. There are only two shower and toilet. Moreover the hostel was realy noisy because of their walls are realy old. We couldn't sleep some nights. Wireles not working in the rooms only on hall. The only good thing about this hostel is location.

This hostel was super basic but really cheap so, I understand that bit. The location was excellent. Really close to the bay and La Rambla. Given that the comforters looked kind of gross, we didn't use them and so we got pretty cold at night.

It's a shame there was no window onto the street, but onto a small intern court which was a bit stinky ...

Stayed in Feb, no heating in the apartment, slept on a lumpy mattress, kitchen under-equipped : no tray in the oven, few glasses and mugs available, no kettle. Everybody was complaining about the cold. The apartment needs clearly to be refurbished. No lift either and it's on the third floor of the building with very steep stairs. No comfort for the price, 50 E for 2 people. On the plus side, nice staff, very central, close to the sea, shops and bars. You buy your food in nearby supermercats.

Very basic hostel. As other users wrote: if you just need it for having a place to sleep, it´s a good choice, being located in the center and yet being pretty cheap.

If you're looking for a cheap bed near the centre of Barcelona this is it, anything more and you would probably be served better elsewhere. My room (Private, two beds) had no decoration whatsoever, a window that only showed the view to the centre of the building. The window let a major draft in the room. The tub didn't drain so by the end of your shower I had water over my ankles. I didn't use the kitchen during my stay.

The best thing - this hostel location. Rooms, bathroom, kitchen were clean. If you need a place just for sleep it's a good choice.

Very basic hostel (no breakfast, no common room, spotty wifi) but a very good price. Only 15E a night each for private rooms was a steal. Location is very close to the port, but far from any of Gaudí's works. The shower didn't drain and, like others have mentioned, the walls very thing but it wasn't a bother.

we were a couple and we stayed in one of the apartment. everything was clean and tidy, we found oil, vinegard, tea and coffee in the kitchen which had all the fornitures. there was no heating system but they provided us an elettric heater . We were very satisfied, the only bad thing is that there wasn't the hairdrier which seams a stupid thing but not in the winter.

Absolutely adorable little studio apartment in a fantastic location, very simple but it had everything we needed -the staff we met were very helpful too. A little noisy at night but that is down to the central location and can be remedied by earplugs or going to bed later.. I will definitely go back!

The location of the hostel makes up for few minuses the place has. And those would be poor sound isolation. Plus if anyone is visiting the place during winter it can get quite chilly, though that did not bother me as much. The staff is nice and helpful, the kitchen is well equipped. All in all, i recommend it.
