The apartment offered great value for money and its location in the Gothic quarters is perfect. The hostel staff member who checked us in was friendly, helpfull and quickly realised that we did not speak the local language so instead spoke english. We had a wonderful time, thank you.

We really liked staying here because it was such a great location. They do not have a sign or anything, though, so at first it was very difficult for us to find.

Great location. Right by Las Ramblas. the Metro is very easy to use and pretty cheap. For our first two nights we got a 2 bed apartment and it was an actual apartment a few blocks away from the hostel. It was awesome. We had our own bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and dining area. Our third night we stayed in a 2bed room in the hostel. It was small and was bunk beds but we were fine with that. Bed linens, blankets, and towels were provided. Very clean no bed bugs. We would recommend this hostel.

Small hostel in a beautiful old building. We only stayed for one night, but the room was comfortable enough. Everything was reasonably clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. It\'s pretty no-frills, but you kind of get what you pay for.

We stayed in a private room which was large and very nice and in a good location however it was some blocks away from the actual Hostel which meant it was much more like staying in an apartment for the night. Not complaining but may be worth noting if you are looking to meet other people etc.

We stayed in the little apartment that belongs to the hostel but is in a separate building, and it was perfect - like having our own Barcelona loft right in the center of town. It had everything we needed - a kitchenette, blankets, soap, even an electric radiator (which we used, in May!!). The staff were great, the location couldn't be better and it's one of the cheaper Barcelona hostels I found. I'd definitely come back!

Very good place, right in the old town, lots of bars in the street, a good shop around the corner, marina a few minutes walk away, even the beach is half an our walk. Entrance looks incredible! Had problems with electricity sockets, though.

We were in the apartment near the hostel. We had a private bathroom with bathtub and shower and even a little kitchen with a refrigerator. The bedroom was very nice too with two small beds. Cleaniness was ok. We enjoyed very much staying there also because of the excellent location. I definitely recommend it! Staff was very very helpful and friendly. :-)

The staff were, for the most part, very helpful and friendly. There were no lockers or locked room to keep our luggage until our room was available so it was put in the common room where there was no one to keep an eye on it. The room I was in was right off of the stairwell and there was a window from the room into the stairwell so every time someone came in during the night and into the wee hours of the morning, the light shone into the room and it was noisy

Fairly clean, very nice welcome (at 2 am), a bit noisy during night because it is a old building. Nicely location with pubs in the streets and VERY close to the port and Plaça de Colon. (some rooms have view on the shower :-S)

Wonderful security, felt extremely safe. Cleaning staff came in every morning and cleaned the whole floor of the hostel, always extremely clean. Kitchen was clean and had cooking and eating utensils provided for the whole floor. Only negative is the amount of noise coming from the bars downstairs that could still be heard when the door of the balcony was closed and went on throughout all hours of the night.

If you want to say in Barcelona on a budget this is the place to stay. A 5 minute walk from La Rambla, port vell and the metro line, so basically everywhere good to go in Barcelona is close. Its cheap, safe, the staff there are really welcoming and everything is on your door step. as long as you don't expect the earth for how much your spending it a great place to stay with loads of character and great value for money.

The location of a hostel is perfect - all bars around, La Rambla is close and the main points is easy to reach. But it was really cold and not cosy in the room, it was dark. The shower was clean, but it was the only one on a floor, though the receptionist said that there are more. We couldn't find any, becouse all doors were locked and nobody was were to enter. They don't provide any towels, too.

The main problem is that there's only one bathroom (with shower) for a number of people. So, you always have to wait to take a shower, especially in the morning...

i have to point out, that the location is the only good thing about this place. It is so extremely cold in there that we could not sleep at night, the same with shower, for 5 days i havent experience trully hot water even for one time. Its old and cruppy, not even close to pictures. Facing very busy street, so its hard to sleep at night. No heaters or airrconditioners.! They dont even have kettle,. Stuff- there is a girl( 22-27) working at the evenings, extremely rude, unattantive , not polite
