You don't want to stay there unless you are for the cooking lesons, which I haven't tried, so can't say, but otherwise haven't seen poorer hosts!

The Baroni Giorgia cannot be recommended. When we arrived there, only a cleaning lady was present. By phone, the owner explained to us, that she could NOT host us, because she 'had a problem with a guest'. In clear words: She had overbooked her rooms. She then sent us over the street to another place called 'Pension Marconi'. The pension Marconi charged 60 Euro per night, which we finally paid in cash. We did not get our deposit back. Isn't this FRAUD???.

We had a little difficulty in finding the hotel (because we had a very poor map of bologna!) but once we found it we were pleasantly surprised, there are only a few rooms available to guests and the place has the feel of a family home (including two very sweet little dogs called Maya and Milu!). The rooms were clean and comfortable and very spacious for the money we paid! The decor was rather eccentric but fun and the staff were very sweet and the hotel was well situated for the city centre.

Wonderful short stay in Baroni Giorgia. Would definitely recommend to all who are into convenient locations, character filled abodes and friendly B&B staff.
