The hostel has a great vibe and the staff are extremely friendly and will accomodate their guests in anyway they can. Highly recommended hostel. Not much to say except that you get excellent tips where to go to and what to do, Russel is very helpfull and patient even with my millions of questions and Markus is a lovely dude that makes you visit pelourinho and his hidden secrets and makes you feel like you are part of it. Nice explanations in the Orixas museum even if it was a bit to long. Lovely people made loads of new friends. Just plain excellent. will be back soon. We only had 2 nights in Salvador as part of our trip to Brazil and it was the perfect base to explore and meeting people. Russell and Marcus were really helpful and there is loads of information on what to see and do, along with safety advice. Great breakfast, clean rooms and free internet, surf and body board hire. Caipiriniha's at 7pm is a great way to meet people and plan an evening out. A very enjoyable stay. Perfect location-only a small walk from the beach, shopping centre, supermarket and some very nice bars and restaurants.
