We had a short overnight stay at the hostel and it was a great introduction to Lima. We didnt have much time to look around unfortunately but it seemed like a lovely area of Lima. It was a little noisy in the early hours of the morning with i think a school outside our window, but don´t let that deter you, well worth staying here and the host was an Englishman very knowledgable and had us on our next route really easily. worth the stay!We had a short overnight stay at the hostel and it was a great introduction to Lima. Great location, right beside the beach!!! There should be a sign when you walk in saying "ask us were the beach is" so everyone goes to it.
Its a very calm relaxing place with a ton of resturants and bars a block or two away. Allthough i did get a few big bug bites while i slept... next time i will close the window so the bugs dont get in.
I liked Borronco as a place to stay much more than Miraflores.

chris, the owner, was very helpful,as was his staff, betty and leonora. they all made our stay in lima more enjoyable than we had anticipated. Highly recommended. Great location, by the ocean and near good restaurants and bars and clubs.
