Clean, secure and in a good location! Check in and out easy, and great free bag storage. Loved the downstairs bar, always busy and enjoyed themed nights! Will stay when in Brisbane again. It is a nice place in the sense that it's got great location and all the services that you would expect of a backpacker's place.
The Hostel is very big which assure a lot of people everyday in the bar that it has in the basement but the building is very old. I actually got the feeling that it had a little humidity smell that I didn't like.It is a nice place in the sense that it's got great location and all the services that you would expect of a backpacker's place.

The location was great- right across from Central Station (2 blocks from Grayhound buses as well). Rooftop, terraces, and the 2 bars on the basement level made for plenty of great hang-out spots. Single rooms have NO fans (fine in warm weather but might be too hot in summer)! The location was great- right across from Central Station (2 blocks from Grayhound buses as well). The kitchen is probably one of the worst iv used for a hostel of this size, its was dirty, nothing worked and they had no forks. Online booking is the better option, ohterwise they will send you maybe to another and expensiver base hostel, although they have free rooms. The kitchen is big but dirty.
