I did not enjoy this hostel at all, the staff were terrible and didnt care at all. The beds were too short and uncomfortable. There is nothing to do at all in central brisbane, the hostel puts on events in the same bar located in the basement every night and it gets old fast. The only miracle about this place is I didnt hang myself while staying there.

The location is suuuuuper great . it is only 50 m from the Central station. And it is in the walkable distance to all major destination. The facilities here are in good maintenance. The bed is soft.

We booked 3 nights at base central but ended up staying at former tinbillys because they messed up our reservation and just missed the email you send them. Didnt say sorry a single time end had to sleep in a stinking room without any windows!

Everything ok, I usually stay here on my transfer between Solomon Islands and Europe. This is my tenth time! But I have one complaint: Some other guests were noisy all night outside our room, in spite of written signs to keep the noise down. How does the hostel handle problems like this?

Very very noisy, not just because there is no air conditioning so windows are left open but there is no noise insulation from the corridors, bring some ear plugs or drink plenty of goon if you want some sleep ;-), staff are really nice and location is excellent
