There are some girls kept knocking at the door at 1am, when we open e door, they said they forgot the key. Then they came back at 4am, totally drunk and talked and laughed very loudly at the corridor until i told them off the third time. They vomitted everywhere. Terrible experience, we could not sleep at all. The target market segment of this hostel does not suit mine. I need a quiet and nice place to sleep. The hostel has very nice and helpful staff though them seldom present at the reception.

Avoid the kitchen in this place. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the linens great, but this place was NOISY. I was woken up multiple times by people screaming down the hallways. Definitely in a good location and certainly clean, but not my best hostel experience by far.

Nice hostel in the middle of the city. Perfect location and no noise of a bar or what so ever. Bathrooms were really clean and room was also perfect. If I have to think of something negative it was only 2 plugs in a room, but that is sorted easily. And my second tip for the hostel is to buy a few more mugs or cups because I couldn't find one when I was willing to have tea at night. But enjoyed my stay for 2 night for sure.

ttI really enjoyed my stay at the base embassy. I stayed in a mixed 8 bedroom and it was a lot of fun. A bit smelly but you shouldn't expect anything else in a small room with 8 backpackers ;-). The facilities were fine as well. Cleaned every morning but because the shower is right next to to the toilet ots always a little moist and muggy in the cabins. The tv room stinks! But when you have Brisbane outside your door you don't need a tv room^^ the staff is amazing! So friendly!

We couldn't lock our dorm door, and there weren't any safety lockers. Wi-fi was quite cheap. Hostel was really calm and quiet and it almost seemed like quests were sleeping all the time, since there was nothing really happening. Beds were ok, kitchen was clean and there was everything we needed! And no bugs! Location was really nice.

Well, I would say an average city hostel with average atmosphere and average friendliness of staff - nothing special but also nothing bad. Tiny rooms without atmosphere (and in my case without window) were compensated with the hostels outdoor balconies.Best is the central location - walking distance to everywhere.
