Really liked the hostel and can recommend it! Perfect location in the city. Roma Transit Station across the street where the greyhound buses stop. Had a 6-bed-dorm for 3 nights on the top floor so it was very quiet at night. I had enough space in the room, but I saw 8-bed-dorms having the same size as my 6-bed-dorm! WiFi not for free and quite poor. Everything clean but small kitchen. Noodles for free :)

Very disappointed with this hostel. The rooms are so small, and dont feel very clean, the beds are not comfortable, our bathroom was fairly unclean. I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend it.

I had something go missing during my travels, and this was the only place without lockers. It is not exactly central, but only a five-minute walk into the CBD area. Having the Roma Street train station 50 metres away was a benefit.

We stayed here for 3 nights in march. It is a very big hostel, but rooms are big with an ensuite which is good. Kitchen is also big, but some of the hobs were broken, and when everyone was cooking it was a bit cramped. There is a bar downstairs which was very loud but we couldn't hear it at all from our room 2 flloors above. It is right opposite the transit center, so a good location if you have an early morning bus!

Everything was too small. I stayed in a 10 bedroom and there was absolutley NO space for the backpack and suitcases! Where should we put our stuff? The bathroom was big and nice but because the room was so small it was a big mission to get in there especially if there are more people standing in the room! The reception was small too, the staff were really friendly though. A bit confusing to find this place because right on the street it says another name so you walk past it.

Seems like it needed some work on it, like fresh paint and renovating the bathrooms, but it was pretty good. Beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, a good atmoshphere

The smell in the kitchen was terrible! Disgusting fridge and the card to get into the room/hostel often didn't work.. The location of the hostel is good, close to the train, buses and walking distance to the centre. and a nice backpackers bar downstairs.

I' ve travelled to 32 countries and the staff here are as good as anywhere I' ve been., nothing was too much trouble. It has a great location and it was clean and comfortable......only complaint I'd prefer fresh air to the air/con......couldn't open a window

Had a really lovely stay at Tinbilly- The 13 bed dorm room 14 was fab! Staff and long termers are really welcoming to everyone and the downstairs bar is great. Fantastic location and clean enough - Can't really complain for $22 a night in the city!

room and en suite was nothing like photos. In room safes were not working therefore we couldn't lock away our valuables. The only lockers were on another level which we then had to pay for. Perhaps this should've come off the total we paid? Bathroom was disgusting. Toilet was broken. very unhappy!

The bathroom wasn't clean. The aircondition was just above one of our beds which was really bad. Very dark room. Would be good if u can open a window.

The Hostel had no atmosphere the kitchen was very bad and dirty and only a few hobs worked which meant a lot of people had to wait a long time before they could cook. The TV hardly ever worked and there wasnt a selection of DVDS like they say there is, the sofas were all torn and there was only one table that you could actually eat from. The bedrooms were the only good thing about the hostel as they were clean and had air con.

The kitchen is really dirty and the rooms (6 female dorms) are really really small. All the windows in the room were unable to open!

Great hostel. Only downside is there were no lockers in the rooms as the safes did not work but otherwise great location
