scammers!!! People from this place force you to do registration even if you do not need or have one. they tell you that is it a law here (Russia) wich is not true. You have to do registration if you stay more than 3 days in one place (not including holliday). Also they asked me if I want to buy Heroin.....no comments on this scammers!!! Good place to stay in, although beds could have been a little softer. Hostel is clean and cosy, a bit crowded though. Staff speaks little english, but it's enough to communicate properly. There are also lockers for the luggage, nicely equipped kitchen (not very spacious though) hot water 24h.
There is a store few meters away and Sportivnaya metro station.
Good value for money.

It's located really close to the Sportivnaya metro station, but if walking, it's approximately 30 minutes from Hermitage. The beds are hard but nice for sleeping however if you are planning to spend whole day in bed and just relaxing then try different hostel. Great hostel. Good location close to fortress and not far to walk to nevsky prospect. Good kitchen and showers. And we thought the beds were fine.Great hostel. it was a nightmare!! the man at reception refused to check me in, although I booked at hostel.com, so I could not stay... and it was late at night.
in other words, is place have no reason to exist !!
in addition to kicked me out to street at night, they charge the reservation fee.

Excellent hostel in a great part of town. Supermarket and deli next door, postoffice down the street, great cafe next door, and great Blini from Teremok right across the street.
