St Kilda is a great location, Base is the most pumping hostel in the area and there are some good bars nearby.

Best hostel I've stayed in by far. Atmosphere is great and all the staff are the most friendly and make you feel welcome. For anyone staying in St Kilda, i'd advise that you stay here, or you'll regret it.

This hostel was brilliant, the staff were lovely, and always there to help you with anything. Each night there was a different event at the bar that included great drinks/food offers. The rooms were clean and cosy and the internet was very reasonably priced.

Very fun atmosphere! Very new, clean facilities. We were impressed that we couldn't hear the bar downstairs at all from our room at night when we weren't out too! Also the security level is very high especially at night!

Nice hostel to stay with a lot of parties, funny and friendly staff and private bathroom in our dorm. I would stay there anytime. We had bad luck with our roommates who were not really clean but it is not the hostel's fault.

Great crew great venue great bar fun times, the bars bloody noisy when your upstairs but free ear plugs made me not care in the slightest, wicked time chur.
