Clean and tidy, however noisy could hear drumming until about 2am

I stayed in the Sanctuary (Room 215). Room was great, but just above the bar so the noise Fri/Sat night was appalling. Next time, I'd ask for a room well away from the bar.

The room was very spacious and clean and I was lucky that I was the only one in the room the other night. However the kitchen was HELL - messy, dirty and a ton of things were broken! Base is really more like a party hostel so if you are in for a quite and nice place to stay, don't go for Base probably...

The rooms were clean and nice but the kitchen was filthy. We also didn't like that it closed at 10:30pm. Also, Although the rooms felt secure they banged so loudly whenever someone came in or out that it was very hard To sleep. Loved the lake location.

Who would open a bar/nightclub underneath a place to sleep. WORST night sleep (no sleep). Ever.

nice situation. big kitchen although it was very dirty. internet is not free but cheap (12$ for 7days). clean room.
