- place is very dirty, watch for the hair and stains on the blankets (use own sleeping bag)
- air con doesnt start till 10.00pm which leaves a couple of hours to bask in your own sweat

"Base Okinawa" is a wonderful hostel, all staff and guests are nice, feel like in home. I had a fine time staying at Base Okinawa. The room was good and it had a private bathroom, shower and fridge. The hang-out area was cool, too, but the place was a little disorganized and there were no locks on the room doors. Not a big deal because Baset had lots of character. Great staff here they treat you like family! We where sad to leave them. So close to the little beach in naha 2.
