Staff were great and the rooms were decent & well-heated. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest and 2 the 3 main toilets were 'out of order'. Great location, 5 mins walk from train station and even closer to the Roman Baths and Abbey. I'm a pretty sound sleeper so noise level was find, but my friends complained of drunk yelling the hallway at 3 in the morning. Always be prepared -- bring ear plugs and eye mask~Staff were great and the rooms were decent & well-heated. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest and 2 the 3 main toilets were 'out of order'. It was VERY cold - the windows in the dorm were old and did not close properly, and the little electric heater couldn't keep us warm! You could really use some investment in new windows and insulation!

My experience was not very good, the beds were so uncomfortable I didn't sleep in all night because my back hurts, and the pillow was so dirty. The breakfast very poor.
