The place smelled like body odor upon walking in the door. The staff were pretty friendly. The showers were in the basement and my room was on the third floor. That wasn't very convenient. I received a clean pillow case. Besides that it didn't appear that they changed the sheets between guests. Overall it served the purpose. But, for the price I wasn't very happy with the accommodations.

The showers were freezing, or they changed constantly from hot to cold. There was a draft coming in the window beside my bed. There were plugs is the bedrooms which was good, and a self service kitchen, sky tv and wifi. However the wifi did not work in the bedroom.

Great hostel, in a perfect location. Has a big kitchen and nice common room. The staff were a little weird, but accomodating. Overall, a good place to stay in Bath.

This was my second stay here and I would definitely come and stay again. As hostels go, it's a decent, clean place with a great atmosphere. It's kept nice and clean, and they're pretty strict on noise after 10.30pm too. I feel at home when I come here! The only downside is that the taps don't see to have have been fixed since my last visit a couple of months before - the cold kitchen tap doesn't work, meaning you can't get decent drinking water.

This hostel is very poor of everything, the toilet is so small and inconvenient. Their beds are dirty.

Staff were excellent and the beds were comfortable. Only negative was that the showers were average as the temperature was too cold.

New bunks and mattresses make a big difference. Very comfortable. I have stayed here several times and never any problems. Good atmosphere but a bit cramped in the dining/TV area. Bit shabby but clean. Great location for trains, buses, Roman baths and abbey.

wouldn't say it's the best but it was alright :) the room was clean, the people were nice, no noise at all, I had a good sleep before the day of the Bath half Marathon :) everything was ok except for the shower was too hot...

first we checked in the wrong room and had to move, because they told us the wrong room and did not excuse. the showers were really bad, it just seeped and with this little water it was impossible to wash your hair.

The staff was great, super friendly. Location can't be beat, it's a 5 minute walk from the train and the center of town is right around the corner. Plus there's a great Nepalese restaurant outside the door and down the steps to the right. Awesome food, great staff. Highly recommend this hostel.

Carrying your luggage up 4 flights of stairs is a hassle, and having to go down a level every time you want to use the bathroom or sink isn't ideal. No suitable mirrors in our room, and the dirty bathroom we had to venture down to use was not even close to clean, and the toilet was broken.
