The Hair dryer in the girls shower is very dangerous..the plasting is melting..someone could get seriously injured. Most of the time the soap bottles in the bathrooms are empty. The boilling pot is very disgusting...i took water from it for my tea before i saw the inside of the pot and i really regret it. You should fix that ..not really healty. Otherwise, the room was nice.

Everything is excellent. I spent only 17 pounds in a 4-bed-room with only 1 roommate. Convinient and this place is really recommendable!:)

after reading some of the comments on here ("worst bed ever!"), we arrived expecting the worst, which was completely unnecessary. the hostel was fine, the sheets clean, the location great, and the staff friendly and helpful. i really liked the fact that there was 90s music playing in the showers! maybe not the best hostel i ever stayed in, but definitely not the worst either.

Its in a great location, other than that, i really didnt enjoy my stay here. Two toilets to share for the hostel, the common room/kitchen was too small for the ammount of people constantly using it, and the horrible showers were 4 flights of stairs down from our room. The bunk beds were a disaster also, increddibly noisy and uncomfortable, and the layout of the rooms had us all unnecessarily close. Would not stay here again, possibly the worst hostel i have stayed at in my 4 months in europe.

On arrival the staff were not friendly or helpful, it almost seemed as if we were an inconvenience to the gentleman . The rooms are extremely crammed, the beds wobbly & most uncomfortable & the duvets totally inadequate. Bedlinene needs renewal. The entire hostel is shabby & standards very lacking in all areas. The kitchen certainly could not cope with the number of people, & no space to store anything at all-was a real bunfight. Lounge area also far too small & most uninviting. Never again!!

The 10 bed dorm had only 6 small lockers. The door was unlocked half of the time (but that's not so much the hostel's fault, it was our room mates). The kitchen was a bit of a mess.

The staff were amazing, very laid back but bent the rules for us to check us in early as we were in a real rush for a wedding. Did everything they could to help us on a very busy Saturday for them!

The bunk beds were in bad condition.Whenever the person below me moved, it became wobbly and I woke up straight away.

Good location, but that's easy enough to find in bath. Rooms were average and mattresses were bad. Probably would look for somewhere more like a hostel and less like a commune if I return.

Great location, close to station and town, but could do with a good clean. Only a toilet on each level, showers were only on the basement level - a long walk from the top floor, and nowhere to put clothes once you got there.

Staff were friendly enough, but not full of info - eg couldn't help/no info with my request for parking info, didn't know where cheap restaurants were ("I haven't eaten out since I broke up with my girlfriend, so I wouldn't know" was the comment I got). It was in a handy location but the facilities weren't great - the lounge was dominated by one or two people & no-one else could get in, basically.

Kitchen was not clean, and the selection of pots was not good, even for cooking pasta. Other thoughts: hidden fees that hostel world and that their own website did not tell me about until I got there, plus a cash deposit! However, it was very well placed, but the holes and dents in the walls were disturbing, and I think that at least one windowsill is cracking. It was concrete!

the receptionist (manager) is worst. i did called to the receptionist before 9pm as bath backpackers home page stated check in after 11pm have to call. one of the staffs say it is fine, just check in when i came however, the train was delay at least 1 hour. thus, i was late to check in however, another staff is nice. he did extended kitchen hours as i did told him i still not yet take in my dinner the equipment was worst. especially one of the toilet was dirty and it was stuck kitchen

A brilliant little hostel! The staff were friendly, fun and relaxed. The rooms were nice although the sheets seemed to be dirty which wasn't very pleasant. We had a great time though and would definitely stay there again!
