I really liked this hostel. Comfortable. Well run. Most staff were good. Great discounts with attached gym. And breakfast was awesome. No wifi in bedrooms, but common area was comfortable and friendly.

It had a great location, but the rooms were very plain and small. Good for a cheap couple of nights.

The rooms were comfortable and not too small (there was even a desk and chair in our three person room). Bathrooms were relatively clean and have several stalls for showers and WC so there was not a problem with lines to use the facilities in the morning. The price of the full English breakfast (2.50) was AMAZING. Too bad the wifi is not available from the rooms. If the wifi fails unexpectedly, make sure to bring it to the attention of the person at the desk so he can reset the router.

The hot water in the ground floor Ladies' shower was NEVER hot, the upstairs ones were lovely.

I booked for a three-bed room and from the net I had understood that there would be an en-suite bathroom. It turned out that there was only a wash basin, with female shower room & toilet far from the bedroom - even the male shower/toilet was closer - which was inconvenient. Bath YMCA should've described facts on its website rather than putting a misleading info.

Quiet hostel in a good location. Staff are friendly. The dorm I was in desparately needs repainting. Security could better - dorm doors close very slowly if you don't know to pull them closed behind you. Shower curtains are almost see-through so take an extra sheet or sarong to throw over the curtain. Overall, not a bad hostel, but has the potential to be much better.

This hostel is a gem in the centre of Bath! I was looking for a room to stay in for one night over a romantic weekend with my boyfriend and everything was already booked or incredibly expensive!! This hostel was perfect, we had a private room which was very affordable and as close to the town centre as you could be really. I was so surprised when I found this online and very pleased when I got to the hostel.

Hostel was 'exactly as it said on the tin'. Basic but very clean, comfortable and friendly in an excellent location. Can't fault the service or price. Will use the Bath YMCA again.

I was really impressed with the hostel - clean rooms and helpful staff, while based in central bath. I'd recommend it to other people looking for accomodation in bath (we stayed for a city break)

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the accomodation was clean as was the bathroom and restaurant. I also liked the security aspect of having the key fob to get into the bedroom area as well as your room key.

Dear Sirs, I stayed in your hostel couple of weeks ago and I was very pleased of the facilities, which has been provided. My and mine friend we stayed for two nights and second night I was disturbt by other guest from room above ours.I went there to sort it out, because after one hour hearing moving furniture in the middle of night was not great. What very suprised me was that one of your staff went upstairs to sort it for me, which I was very pleased. I am glad that they helped me. Marie
