Nice place to stay, a bit hidden off the street so make sure you know exactly where it is before you get there! There is no kitchen, which is a bit disappointing, but breakfast is included in the room price. Car parking is expensive and problematic in Bath, so if you can, avoid bringing a car in.

I stayed at the Bath YMCA with three friends on 11/11/2011. We are all professionals in our late thirties so did not know what to expect. We need not have worried, the reception staff were good, the room clean, the showers were clean and hot and the beds were bunks but really comfy. We had a four person room. It's not the Hilton but for twenty pounds we could not have asked for better. I'd stay there again without hesitation. Only nearby off street parking is multi storey which is twelve quid.

A little difficult to find, but overall a good stay. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe, and its location within the city of Bath is excellent. Also, in comparison to other hostels, I felt as if they provide excellent bedding.

The YMCA Hostel in Bath was a lovely place - my visit there was fantastic. The hostel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only critique for the place is in the dorm rooms there is only one outlet and it was in high demand from everyone who was staying there.

Another wonderful stay. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room and all the facilities were spotless. The breakfast was delicious. Bath YMCA is an ideal, central base to visit Bath's many wonderful attractions. We will certainly stay there again. Excellent value for money.

The accomadation in Bath is very expensive so I choose the Bath YMCA for the price and the great location. It has lived up to both.

The rooms were too hot and airless at night. Better to have cool room and lots of bedding. Staff were lovely.

Excellent location, beds very small if over 6ft.Quite expensive considering no private wash facilities, travelodges etc could be better value for money.

We felt very confortable and safe. Most people of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We could use Internet in their computers very easily. Good breakfast . There were families with young children, young people and elder ones. A friendly and respectable atmosphere. Hot water and clean bathrooms all the time. Definitely I would go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Bath YMCA. The staff were extremely welcoming and accomodating. Such a central location, close to all the sites and some delicious eateries. While the decor is now a little aged, the hostel was immacutely clean and cared for. A little noisy at times, but hey it's a hostel. Loved that it was so family welcoming, had a 24 hour reception and offered breakfast as part of the package. We'll definitely be back!

PROS: Great location! The building is just a few minutes away from the city's main attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants!!! Staff was lovely!!! Bath was lovely!!! Overall, LOVELINESS!!! CONS: Internet could be improved, such as access in the rooms instead of having to go down to the lobby with only 2 wall outlet chargers. Maybe a shampoo/wash for the carpets every now and then? Or none at all...looks a little dingy.
