We liked it a lot. Everything was great: location, rooms, breakfast and veru friendly staff. We would come back if we need to be in Bath, for sure!

We had a great stay there at YMCA, would have loved to stay longer. The staff was really nice with us, just like people in general in Bath actually. Cheap and clean, ideal for young people.

Surprised that there were no laundry facilities specifically for guests - had to wait for staff to finish using the machines - and they weren't in a nice location. But we still were able to use them and appreciated that.

Another brilliant stay at the YMCA. They were doing a "thorough clean" of the dorm I was supposed to be staying in so they upgraded my room free of charge which was awesome. I stayed for 4 nights in a single room with shared bathroom and was very comfortable. Continental breakfast included, very helpful staff and clean room and bathroom.

The YMCA is friendly, helpful & very clean. It's also very well located. A terrific bargain relatively speaking.

Located near the heart of the Bath Spa, just minutes away from the attractions and stores. Excellent staff which is helpful, decent breakfast included in the price (with supplement at a little extra cost if desired). Could be a bit noisy for someone sleeping early as the windows facing entrance is directly above the outdoor gathering areas, which attracts a lot of people enjoying their late night chats and drinks. Afterall a good choice.

We were very glad to find this affordable place to stay in Bath. It's a beautiful city and the hostel was great for our needs - accommodations are simple, but it was clean and staff was friendly. I would recommend this to any budget traveler.

A really great hostel. The staff were all incredibly lively and made you feel welcome and comfortable, they always tried to help out even with our odd requests about long beds. The location is so perfect its unbeleivable. One odd thing is some of the rooms can hear music very loudly on a saturday morning (9.30ish). Not sure if this is to do with the gym warming up but the music was turned down quickly so perhaps it had was accidentally turned too loud. Just for them to keep an eye on in future.

I only stayed one night but the staff I met were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was pleasantly surprised with the hostel - the single room was large and very clean and the bathrooms were in good, clean condition too - something that can't always be said for a hostel! The only problem I had was finding the place - not the easiest place to locate - but it is very central (once you knew where it was!) yet quiet. I would definitely stay here again...

A bit restricting having to ask for room key at reception each time. Why not use card system as other hostels.

it was a very nice and clean hostel. staff was perfectly friendly and helpful. everything was clean and comfortable. however, it was more like just a place to sleep at rather than a real hostel experience. it was kinda quiet there.
