One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in!

Very good location. Just approx. five minutes to next train station. Staff had a lot of good tips where to eat, to party, less known points of interest etc. My room was in the fifth floor, I didn't hear anything from the roof terrace. Small and clean room with my own bath, nothing special. But you're in Berlin, you should stay in hostel for sleep, shouldn't you?! Only the mattress was worn out!!!!!! That prohibits a good evalution for facilities. Anyway, would come back to Baxpax.

Good all around. Rooms were nice and clean, although individual lights were lacking (4-bed dorm). The food was affordable and tasty. Biggest concern: Why are people smoking in the enclosed patio area?

Bright, well kept hostel, of such high standard that it is better than many budget hotels. The staff were superb, friendly, helpful. A "young" vibe to it with a lot of bright colours and music, but nothing offensive! Decent location about 5mins walk from Friedrichstrasse S and U Bahn.

Free Wifi was very bad, totally unusable. :-(

Good hostel. Very clean facilities and ensuite bathrooms were very nice. Beds were comfortable and the wifi worked alright.

Clean rooms and public spaces. Very organised behind the desk - no fuss upon check in and out which deserves gold stars! Love the backyard, it's amazing. Breakfast could be better in terms of quality and serving time (quiet morning but two boiled eggs took 15 mins) but not fussed.

Hey I didn't party like it was 1999 but I had a great time! Baxpax Downtown Berlin you are top of the pops and the city well.... you are a BEAST!

This is a great place. The rooms are good with very clean facilities. It has several areas to chill and just hang out. I truly recommend this place for your stay in Berlin.

I loved our stay here. I have stayed in many hostels across Europe and this one was great! I stayed in a 30 person dorm and felt safe. Their beds were clean and sturdy and their lockers a good size. Plus their food was delicious! I enjoyed meeting their staff. Lastly, their showers were the cleanest I have ever seen!!

Great staff. The common room could use a renovation as the couches are falling apart. The dorm room feels like a bit of a bunker/dungeon, though (only very dim, purple lighting).

Great staff, great bar - just a fab place in general! The 30 bed dorm is a unique experience but don't be put off. Had a great stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Berlin.

not fancy but clean enough. the strength of this is just a very good location near Fedricher strasse station, which connects 8 lines of metro and just 1 station from Hauptbahnhof. I'll still choose it if I can't couchsurf in Berlin next time.

No complaints - a good hostel very close to the Friedrichstrasse, Oranienburger Tor, and Oranienburger Strasse stations. The staff seemed quite friendly and helpful, and I would have no hesitation about staying there again.
