Stay here! The staff are friendly, outgoing and extremely helpful. The food at the cafe is great and affordable. If you want a relaxed, clean place with plenty of room and an amazing atmosphere then stay at Baxpax. You won't regret it. This is honestly the best hostel I've stayed at in Europe.

This hostel was awesome. They have a rooftop bar and downstairs restaurant/bar which are great places to meet other travelers. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and pretty spacious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was in a great location, pretty close to everything I wanted. The only thing I could complain about is that you have to keep pressing a button for the shower to spray but that's a minor detail that shouldn't affect anyone's decision to stay here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Best hostel I have stayed at (and I have stayed at over 25 hostels worldwide). Don't waste time reviewing other hostels, this is a great place close to everything you need to see in the west area, and 4 stations away from the east side gallery where all the cool bar and restaurants are. I stayed on the 2nd floor in a 8 bed mixed dorm. Cleanest bathroom/shower, comfy beds, plugs for each bed, ..etc.

Do not stay in the bunker 30 man dorms.. A complete disgrace, no daylight, no plugs, and no lights in the room apart from artificial neon lights , also air con is a disaster.. Highly not recommend!!!!

You get free wi-fi for 24 hours, but I think this should be free all the time really (but then I'm used to backpacking in SE Asia). I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this hostel and how 'nice' the rooms were. My dorm was on the 3rd floor and it was basically silent. The bed and pillow were very comfy and I got an excellent night's sleep. There are some roomsm in the basement. I didn't see those but the corridors were pretty dark. Great communal areas. Staff very nice and helpful.

excellent place and great location, the breakfast could be a bit cheaper for what they offer.

I had a wonderfull time at the Baxpax and I strongly recommend it! The wifi was a bit...not reliable and we couldn't lock the lockers in the room. A bit expensive for the breakfasts, but otherwise, great staff, fun gang to hang out with, near from all the main locations in the center and Mandy is SO amazing :) keep on the good work girl! You rocked! :D

There are better hostels in Berlin. Stayed in 4-bed all-girls, and the staff "lost" the keys to remaining two lockers, so my friend and I couldn't lock our things. Had to pay extra for the bedding (which was especially cheap quality and felt gross), which was a rip off. The shower only allowed for 15 seconds of water at a time (you had to keep re-pressing the button), which isn't even enough time to rinse your hair, as a girl. Location is okay...that's about the only worthwhile quality.

All the staff were extremely helpful, there were just a couple of minor issues with some organisation. Most of the time they were outstanding though! Loved the furnishings and decor in the rooms - really quirky and original!

Good all around. Rooms were nice and clean, although individual lights were lacking (4-bed dorm). The food was affordable and tasty. Biggest concern: Why are people smoking in the enclosed patio area?

Very good location. Just approx. five minutes to next train station. Staff had a lot of good tips where to eat, to party, less known points of interest etc. My room was in the fifth floor, I didn't hear anything from the roof terrace. Small and clean room with my own bath, nothing special. But you're in Berlin, you should stay in hostel for sleep, shouldn't you?! Only the mattress was worn out!!!!!! That prohibits a good evalution for facilities. Anyway, would come back to Baxpax.

Bright, well kept hostel, of such high standard that it is better than many budget hotels. The staff were superb, friendly, helpful. A "young" vibe to it with a lot of bright colours and music, but nothing offensive! Decent location about 5mins walk from Friedrichstrasse S and U Bahn.

Clean rooms and public spaces. Very organised behind the desk - no fuss upon check in and out which deserves gold stars! Love the backyard, it's amazing. Breakfast could be better in terms of quality and serving time (quiet morning but two boiled eggs took 15 mins) but not fussed.
