Overall a good hostel, just one staff member was very rude and didn't give guests the time of day.

Nice clean hostel with good facilities and very well located. However we found the staff to be rude and unhelpful. When interrailing a little bit of kindness and local knowledge goes a long way - something they don't seem to understand at Baxpax downtown! This really took from our Berlin experience. Will be visiting the city again but certainly not his hostel.

The outside area is sick, very socialable and easy to get chatting to people. The food is good and reasonably priced. I stayed in the 40 bed dorm which was fine, except the air-con in there was very temperamental. The whole hostel needs more toilets, there are only two in the whole place.

Awesome vibe around the blow up pool. Huge backyard which is great to lounge around and chat to people. The 30 bed dorm was quiet, clean, and rested at a good temperature. Needs more toilets and staff need to be more upfront and informative about all the cool stuff there is to do in berlin.

We stayed in the 30 bed dorm and it was dungeon like; always dark and gloomy. The size of the dorm makes it hard to get much sleep but that's what you'd expect when booking it. Great atmosphere at the bar - met loads of fellow travellers over a few beers. Very well located in what is a very large city.

People came in and stole cameras and money from our rooms. poor security, easy to walk into the dorms. Good and nice rooftop bar. Expensive drinks

The place isn't that far from the centre and it's close to the main things but the clubbing district is a million miles away. The staff are typical Germans and if the button on the computer says €5 then it can't be anything but €5 no exceptions. We got upgraded first night so that was cool. Not sure about security if you're in the big dorm as the door doesn't ever close properly and anyone can wander in. But it's a great hostel and I loved it

The Hostel was ok, in a very good location (5 minutes walking from Hackescher Markt and also very close to Friedrichstrass station), but the staff at the reception wasn't the nicest. They always seemed to be in a rush and would answer my questions very quickly to gel rid off me.

A low rating is deserved here... The staff are not very friendly. No eye contact as they're speaking to you and they are rude when asked for directions. One morning while I was there, I witnessed some guests ask a staff member for a knife so they could cut open a couple buns. The staff then told the guest that they can't eat their buns in the hostel because they're serving breakfast. They made the guests sit outside to eat (like animals) because they weren't buying breakfast from the hostel.

Great hostel. Its only weak point is that some of the staff members are a bit rude.

Great hostel especially for the rate but the basement dorm was very dark. It was a bit strange and inconvenient to have ensuite showers but not toilets. Also the showers were timed, as well as the bathroom lights, which was very annoying as they kept switching off. Staff friendly but not the most communal vibe from fellow guests. Location central to everything.

Great atmosphere at BaxPax. We were in the 30 room hostel which was surprisingly nice and quiet and plenty of space for keeping big bags with lockers which could be locked if you brought a padlock. This big dorm was in the basement and didn't have any air con so was very warm but it was easy to keep cool using the sheet rather than the duvet. The common area was great for meeting new people and having a drink before going out. Very clean bathroom facilities and good to have fresh linen.

I stayed with my friend in this hostel just for one night. but we had the best time in there. staff were amazing, always kind. and the atmosphere was great too. i would stay there again.

Loved the hostel. Clean room, bathroom and toilet. Very good location near the friedrichstrasse. The lounge was perfect for a early morning cup of coffee.

I really suggest this Hostel! And the localocation is great!

It would be nice if there were security or crew that comes in the room to inspect it (not the cleaning crew) because The first day I got there the room was trashed by 4 Irish girls staying there a few days before I got there. There were many drinks and alcoholic beverages multiplying every night until they left, which was a day before my departure. The cleaning crew cleaned up very nicely but to wait that long before they were gone was hell.debris and alcohol accrued from their arrival till dep.

This hostel was very modern and clean however we stayed in the 30 bed dorm which due to its size and layout made meeting people very difficult. When you enter you enter the hotel part and the dorm is down the stairs with no windows but it is fine. The photos are obviously all of the hotel and not the hostel.

Perfect as always :) love it !

Really great location, friendly staff, very clean and great facilities. If the weather is nice they open the rooftop terrace which has a very small inflatable pool and a bar which is really cool. I stayed in a two bed apartment which was also really nice and clean etc. I would recommend this hostel to young people that want a bit more luxury than usual hostels - still so much fun and would come back 100%.

No kitchen as there is a bar. The basement K room is so dark, as no main lights but the bedside lamps aren't that good.
