Baxpax Downtown Hostel/Hotel Reviews

The hostel was modern and clean. Great showers, comfy beds. The big dorm is in a basement and the sound of the water in the exposed pipes bothered my friend a little, but she is a light sleeper. The cleaning ladies started cleaning the room at around 9 when the check out time is 11. The staff did not offer any information which I found a little strange. No sights, no directions, no hostel rules, just checked us in and when I asked pointed to the map.

the brightness of light was not enought in K studio. I don't know why it is red. without that everything was good.

staffs are really really nice, responsible which is most important.

you guys have to chage the lame in K-studio. and staff was rude.

This hostel has a really good location as it's close to a metro stop and to Friedrichstrasse station, which is one of the main stops if you're coming to the city from the airport. Rooms are big and cozy and they get cleaned every day. All staff is very kind. If we ever visited Berlin again we'd definitely come back to Baxpax hostel!

A hostel named BaxPax without a kitchen with a bar area with expensive drinks and food where you cant bring your own food or drinks, not much of a hostel more of a hotel. Not at all what i wanted or expected.

Staying at the Baxpax downtown hostel was wonderful. In particular thanks to the interior use of space. A 30 bed dorm sounds packed and crowded, but smart lighting (standard dimmed red lighting, and small bedside lamps) good matresses and a smart use of the room guarantees a good night rest. I spent two nights there, but without difficulty could have spent a month. I would have loved to make it my home away from home. However tempting, the dormfloor should be a bit cleaner before I could settle.

The only downside was the timered shower that only stayed on for a few seconds and sensored lights in the bathroom that turned off when you were in their.

It's really nice, cool to acces during the day to many turistic locations and museums. Anyway maybe for nightlife excepting Oranienburgerstrasse that you can find some bars and a very known one "AM to PM" its better when you go to southeast Berlin for party. Anyway you will find an other BAXPAX and probably you will be nicely received at night for drinking cause we had. Went there for party saying we were in the other baxpax and they had no problem. I was really impressed when I came to Berlin in the night... It was dark and rainy, but I have found the address very quickly) and it was perfect! Crazy lounge atmosphere, smart people, nice staff and very good and the bar was not expensive)) The price for my bed was just.. 6 euro! The bed was very good, in quiet dorm with the lamp! It was so comfortable and I slept until check-out and missed the breakfast))) but my order in the bar was not more expensive. Thank you for all!!!!

Great hostel - centrally located and within walking distance to many of the sights. Also not too far from the S and U bahn if taking the local train or subway.

I've never left a review before but I have to say this place was fantastic. I met so many incredible people.

This hostel presented really well and was really, really clean and spacious. We stayed in a 5 bed dorm but there was only 3 lockers, luckily there were four of us travelling so we just shared two between us. Also, the cafe/bar/restaurant had average food and on two occassions we had to wait over 45 minutes for our order to arrive, which really suxx when your hungover from NYE. At least we were offerred free drinks. Oh and the showers were push buttons and only lasted 8 seconds!!

I wanted a kitchen! But otherwise, wonderful.

Great place, near the main sightseeing spots. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were also very clean. Bet value for you money.
