Lobby area is nice enough of a place to hang around, wifi connection is smooth - but music playing practicly all night long can be a bit of an annoyance. Had to go and ask the receptionist to put at least the bass down a bit around one o'clock in the night - as its banging kept us in the next room more or less awake 'till that. She apologized nicely and eventually turned it down, so once again - if anything anywhere annoys you, just open your mouth. ;)

The hostel have a bar right next to some of the rooms, and doesn\'t close until 5 og 6 in the morning. A place for party people. Staff was very friendly and helpfull, and the atmosphere was grat. A great place for single backpackers. It is located right outside the metrostation, so it is easy to get around.

An amazing hostel. One of the best I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend it- especially if you want to meet new people. Perfect size. Kreuzberg 36 has become a great area. Could have had more facilities/showers though.

Amazing atmosphere with lots of friendly backpackers around. It's also in a really groovy location in east berlin - lots to do. Definitely made Berlin one of the highlights of my eurotrip.

Nice hostel in general. More for party people than someone who wants it rather quiet. What I loved was the location in Kreuzberg, right across a metro station. Staff was super friendly and rooms/facilities clean. What I didn´t like was that they did not have secure lockers in the rooms although they had a safe at the reception. It´s annoying walking to the reception every time you need your laptop or camera. I also didn´t like that people were allowed to smoke at the reception/bar after 8pm.

There was loud (!) music on a Sunday morning (started at 7am)... didn't expect that, and don't think it is appropriate.

Baxpax was in a really cool location. I was only there for 1 night but it had everything I needed. The shower was a little annoying because you had to press a button every 10 seconds to keep the water going. The staff was very helpful

My first hostel in Berlin was not so fun. I moved to this one and it made my entire experience in Berlin better. Thank you BaxPax!!!!!

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The smoking in reception, however, posed a bit of a problem. It was extremely hazy in there and was difficult for some nonsmokers who were having trouble breathing.

Baxpax was an interesting spot, for sure. The Kreuzberg part of town it's in couldn't be any cooler, far better than the tourist-ed out Mitte part of town, and the hostel attracted an interesting group of travelers to match. Probably not a spot for you if you have an aversion to smokers, as the hostel lobby/bar is smoking past a certain point, but if you're down to see a slice of real Berlin in Kreuzberg, Baxpax is ideal.

The place was cold, a fair way away from everything and having a shower was like pulling teeth. For the price of the hostel it's at a poor standard.

Nice location, thera are many bars and cafes near the hostel. The room was clear enough, but too much noise in the night, because administrations don't carry about it. P.S. The water in bathroom was only hot and you can't control it. It's really a kind of tortue

Awesome hostel would recommend to anyone. Staff is incredibly friendly and willing to help you out if you need it. Great showers with hot water. Cool rec room with a pool table and always stocked with cheap good bar. All in all a great experience. Highlight is definitely the staff
