The bathrooms were not working which was not cool - it's a very small hostel with not very much common area- it is not a good place to meet other travellers if your on your own - it's 30 min walk or 2 stops from town centre which is good - but there is nothing around the hostel- no bars shops anything really- if u want to stay close to the city and close to supermarkets , trains, bars an the river and a good place where everything is then you should stay as close as you can to alexanderplatz.

The staff seemed pretty uninterested in helping you. The atmosphere of the place doesn't encourage meeting new people. I wouldn't recommend it for solo travelers looking to meet people. I would recommend it for groups of travelers looking for somewhere close to the main tourist attractions.

Excellent clean hostel with friendly and helpful staff. Not really a big enough common space for it to be that social but we were a group so were quite happy in our room. Remember your travel adapter as they are surprisingly hard to come by in Berlin and the hostel doesn't have any.

We had a great stay and will definitely go back if we are in Berlin again. Very close to the U Bahn and there is a lot to do nearby.

Good location, clean, friendly atmosphere, but showers have only curtains, which i found weird for a hostel...

Excellent location and good thing about their kind of "loyalty system". After my first visit I've got a "buddy card" with several nice bonuses :)

A very good hostel which is only beaten by the fact that its Kreuzberg sister hostel has way more soul. However, if you need to stay in Mitte, this definitely gives you great value for your money! Only drawback is the unpredictable showers which are way to warm AND way to cold depending on mood of the day...

The price of bed linen has to be included in the overall price: there's no use in omitting that if than you have to pay for that. Also, one toilet for a whole floor is not enough. Finally, plugs in the room can be comfortable.

Great for the price! Sometimes the bethrooms can get a little dirty, but not that much. The bedroom I stayed was really great. The staff is very nice and helpfull!

You get what you pay place where to stay for a couple of nights. Pretty good location, everything is reachable by foot although it's not that in the centre. Nice kitchen area although a bit too small.

In general it was a good experience for me, but my wife hated it. She found stains in the sheet, besides not being able to have a warm bath in the winter.

A cool hostel with a wide mix of people. Rooms were very funky and place looked great. Always so clean! Internet was a pain that you always had to get a new code and log in constantly. Had an awesome kitchen, lounge area, but sadly people didn't mingle that much. Nice place, easy walk to lots of sights and restaurants.

The staff at Baxpax werent very helpful when it came to local knowledge, they werent very informed. The kitchen is small for the amount of people wanting to cook there and there are only two womens toilets, two showers and two sinks to accomodate a whole floor of people. However, the artworks on the walls and the location is quite good and everything is very clean!
