Baxpax Mitte Hostel Reviews

One of the best hostels I have ever stay. So good. The people and the place makes up for the breakfast (that is just 10 min away on the other baxpax hostel).

Great location, nice rooms and very good facilities. I would definitively stay here again!

The Staff is Really cool! they really make you feel like home! and the location is excellent, just 2 steps away from the tram! it also has a pretty neat atmosphere. If i ever go back to berlin I already know whats gonna be my "home" ;)

Shower is not hot at all

This hostel was quite amazing. I really enjoyed the different themes everywhere for each floor and room. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, which is nice when traveling by oneself. I especially enjoyed the fact the hostel had its own kitchen, which allowed me to save money by buying groceries and not letting me fend for myself at a stand or restaurants that are a little too expensive for a university students budget. When I return to Berlin I definitely will return to Mitte Baxpax Hostel!

A nice, small hostel that is more central than you think, with a nice quirky atmosphere and friendly, helpfull staff. Higly recommended!

Fairly good hostel, near the Hbf and main attactions in city centre. A bit mess outside, but clean and tidy inside

I would recommend the improvement of the showers for ladies. You were taking a shower and suddenly the lights went off, even if you mouved they wouldn't went on. That was annoying. But it was the only thing, the rest was excellent.

Pros: Well planned hostel. Reception open 24/7. Very clean. Cheap. Cons: You need a padlock for the locker. The water temperature in the shower and washbasin is centrally decided, which means that you cannot take cold drinking water from the tap. Very stupid.

An excellent hostel that dealt with all our needs. There are only a few small bits, no mirror in rooms and no laundry facilities at hostel. The staff are really helpful and although the common area isn't huge it is a great spot for meeting people. Transport in to the city centre is practically outside the front door, it is a mere two/three stops down on the U Barn depending where you wish to go.

Extremely cosy, everything was clean and I loved my room (Berlin room). Quiet at night so you could get sleep. The only complaint about my stay was that one guy in my room smelled really bad but that's not management's fault i guess. There's one computer, they charge 50c/30 min. The jeremy piven doppelganger receptionist is very nice. 24 hour reception but i came back at 5am on the last night and i had to ring for a bit to be let in. otherwise it was a great stay, highly recommended

Was a good location, super close to the metro and tourist attractions, but not quite in the thick of it. Nicely decorated and they have good coffee and snacks available for purchase. I was staying in the 12 bed mixed dorm and it was a lame crowd. I was out till 5:30 every night and I was always the last one in...but this is Berlin! You are supposed to party until the next day. So not a party hostel, but otherwise great chill place to stay!

Great location (near main turistic points, as well as bars, clubs and supermarkets), very good prices and rooms, has everything a backpacker need and a supporting staff, all very chilled. Don't hesitate to pick this one.

This is one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. It's really clean, really nice, the kitchen is great and the staff is really nice and available to help with whatever you need. Plus, the price is good, and the location is quite central. I have no bad things to say.

This is an amazing hostel. They have everything available to you that you may have forgotten at home. It is the cleanest hostel that I stayed in during my month long trip in Europe. Almost all staff members were very friendly and efficient (except Irene.. not the best at multitasking). Walking tours available. Kitchen is great. Free wifi - just pick up a slip from reception (downside is that the slip/login expires so you need to get a new one everyday). Great location right by a subway station.

Amazing hostel! So pretty!!! Good location. Some staff helpful, some a bit rude. But still good staff!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, Individual good sized lockers. Bathrooms are Clean and pretty good kitchen to use. The only downside is the incredibly annoying wifi system that they use with individual logins that expire all the time and require login/password everytime you're inactive for a little while. Otherwise recommend it highly!!
