We really liked the lounge area inside (very cozy and also with a lovely wintergarden) and outsite in the nice garden. It is also perfectly located close to the city and just a couple of meters to a very big supermarket

They did not clean our room while we were at the hostel. And a girl told us they did not clean the room while she was there. Must have been more than a week without cleaning the room.

This is an older hostel but it has alot of character! Their manager makes EVERYONE feel welcome. If you are looking for a great place to stay for a few days it really has everything you need.

This was an ok place to stay. we didn't get the warmest of welcomes, but when we needed anything, the staff did help. Room was ok - motel style place which was all adequate but a bit tired. Location was good although neighbouring hostels were quite noisy.

Stayed here over Christmas and had a great time, great atmosphere. Only thing was we went to play tennis one day and the head of one of the rackets we were given snapped off after a couple of shots so we didnt get to play. They didnt make us pay though as it wasn't our fault which was good.

Very, very loud neighborhood, sometimes until the early morning. We stayed 6 nights there.

The cleaning times of the shower and the kitchen are rather inopportune and in the kitchen there is hardly enough space for everybody to leave their stuff. You'll have to go along the outside to either the bathrooms or the kitchen, which is fine when the weather is good, but not when its cold and raining. Washing machines are really expensive. Location wise the backpackers is as good as any other in the same street. As for the "resort" claim: well, there are plenty of similar backpackers there.

This place is very conveniently located only a short walk from the beach and the main restaurants and shops. Had a nice atmosphere and good facilities - bed was a little uncomfortable though.

Very happy with this hostel and had a pleasant stay. We arrived fairly late so reception was shut, but they kindly left us a key to get in the room. The only problem we found was that the bathroom shuts between 10 and 11 for cleaning, and as there are no other bathrooms, you need to make sure your all done for then.

The kitchen was not terribly clean, and the cookware available is lacking, and not sufficient to make meals. The couches in the living area have definitely seen better days, and the flat screen tv is hooked up to....wait for it.....a vcr. The rooms themselves are pretty good and there are lockers if you have your own lock. The washroom is down at the end of the property, meaning you have to go outside from your dorm room. Not ideal when it's cold out.
